英訳お願いします
「Mr.○○ teaches us a social studies.」と答えがなるよう質問をしたいのですが、「誰(先生)があなたたちに社会を教えていますか。」と質問をつくりたいと考えているのですがなんと言えばよいのでしょうか、教えてください。

「Mr.○○ teaches us social studies.（"a" は不要です）」と答えがなるような質問であれば、「誰(先生)はあなたたちに何(の科目)を教えていますか?」になると思います。この場合、英語は、 「What (subject) does Mr.○○ teach you?」 になります。 因みに、「誰(先生)があなたたちに社会を教えていますか。」であれば、 「Does Mr.○○ teach you social studies?」となり、これに対する回答は、 「Yes, he does. (He teaches us social studies.)」 になります。

１。鍵は答えが一つですが、「誰が」教えているのか、「何を教えて」いるのか、「〇〇さんは何をする人」かの三つに答えられます。問いは次の三つです。 ２ Who teaches social studies? 誰があなたたちに社会を教えていますか。 What subject does Mr. 〇〇 teach? 〇〇先生はあなたたちに何を教えていますか。 What does Mr. 〇〇 do? 〇〇さんは何をする人ですか。

中学三年生の者です。 学校で習っている関係代名詞がよくわからなくなってしまって・・・ 質問させていただきます。 The animal （that） many people like is dog. 「多くの人々が好きな動物は犬です」 この文のように、先行詞が物や動物の場合は、thatを省略することができます。 しかし、先行詞が人物の場合、例えば Mr.Brown is a teacher who teaches us English. 「ブラウン先生は私たちに英語を教えている先生です」 という場合は、who を省略することはできませんよね？ 単純な質問で申し訳ありません・・・

先日授業で 関係代名詞who,whichを使用して２文を１文にまとめてみよう。という問題で、 The man teaches French for us. He told a funny story in the party. この問題を He who told a funny story in the party teaches French for us. と答えて正解をもらったのですが他の人からその答えはおかしいといわれました。 もしテストにこの問題が出たときにこの回答で大丈夫でしょうか？ 教えてください、お願いします。

tellやteachは目的語を２つ取れる動詞なのに直接目的語になれそうな部分をaboutをつかって表している文がありました。例えば・・・ Mr.Long teaches us history.という文ではhistoryを直接目的語に取れるのに He taught us about AIDS.という文ではAIDSを直接目的語にとらないでaboutをつかって表していたので He taught us AIDS.というふうには出来ないのかなぁと思いました!!!教えてください!!!

「intensive study」の日本語訳を教えて下さい。 これに対し近い意味であると思われる「social survey」が「社会調査法」を意味するので、 「intensive study」は社会学の何かしらの調査の用語であるはずですが、日本語で何という用語なのか分かりません・・・。 知っている方、いらっしゃったら教えて下さい！！

Through social communication our culture teaches us both the symbol (be it a sound or written marks) and what that symbol stands for. 上記の英文で、括弧内の部分の構文が理解できません。 意味は「それが音であれ書かれた文字であれ」ということだと思うのですが、<if の省略の倒置＞？かとも考えましたが、その場合はhad とか wereで始まるはずですよね？ 何故これが原型で、倒置の形になっているのか、お教えください。

They particularly investigate "collective" phenomena, that is, aspects of people's lives that are not unique to them, ones that they share with at least some others. that is以下のto them, ones, they shareのtheyが指しているものがわかりません。 (2)Being able to give answers to questions such as "Why do these people typically or regularly do that?" or "Why did that event or kind of event happen when and where it did?" is a practical requirement of life for everyone. (3)Effective human beings must have a practical, sound grasp of the concepts needed to analyse social reality, concepts which social theory makes explicit for the social sciences. (4)The key point is that realists hold that there are many different kinds of causes at work producing social phenomena. Thus realism provides a good basis for introducing the varieties of social theory which seek to understand the causes of social phenomena.
