英文契約書の出だし
英文契約書の出だしに、 ”KNOW ALLMEN BY THESE PRESENTS:” とありますが、これは正確にはどういう意味でしょうか？ またこれを基にして、契約書をつくるのですが、他に適当な表現はあるでしょうか？ かなりの英文契約書のサイトをみましたが、通常はこのようなセンテンスはなく、いきなり誰と誰が契約というふうにはじまっていました。

does by these presents grant, bargain, sell, remise, release, alien and confirm unto the said party of the second part FOREVER, .... 「（○○を約因として）本証書により乙に対して（●●を）を永遠に～する」という内容になると思うのですが、grantからconfirmまでの動詞をどのように訳せばよいのかわかりません。 辞書には以下のような意味が載っていました： grant: 譲渡する bargain: 売買する sell: 売却する remise: 譲渡する release: 譲渡する、放棄する alien: 譲渡する confirm: 確認する 英文契約書について調べると、同じ意味の語が併記されることが多いとありましたが、上記の動詞はどのように訳せばよいのでしょうか？ 例えば、「譲渡、売却、確認する」とまとめて構わないでしょうか？

英文契約書の表現について 法律カテゴリーとどちらが適当か分かりませんでしたが、こちらに投稿させて 頂きました。 （１） 英文契約書の冒頭付近で当事者の会社を規定する際に例えば "ABC Inc., a Delaware corporation" とか "XYZ Inc., a California corporation" のように、a ○○ corporation という表現をよく見かけます。 この○○の部分は所在地を示していると思いますが、形容詞ではなく名詞なのでしょうか？ 日本の会社の場合には a Japan corporation または a Japanese corporation の どちらが正しいでしょうか。 あるいは、国レベルではなく、県または市の名称のほうが適当でしょうか？ （２） 上記○○のところは、本社の所在地で考えるのでしょうか？契約書を本社ではなく 事業所で署名する場合、当該事業所の所在地（例 a Yokohama corporation）でよい のでしょうか？ 以上、宜しくお願い致します。

英文契約書の勉強中です。「the Term」という表現が登場し、翻訳に迷っています。theが付いているので「本契約期間」という意味かと思うのですが、その場合、普通は『the term of the agreement ("the Term")』というように用語の説明が前出であると思うのですが、無いのです。 「当該期間」と訳すには、曖昧すぎます。 この表現は契約期間を表すのに使用されるのでしょうか？

At the same time, I remembered that I didn't buy him any presents these years. This morning I asked him what he wants except chocolate, and he answered he wanted the lighter. I went to the shopping mall and found the lighter that he will probably like it. I hope he will be pleased to see it.

英文契約書の勉強を続行しています。この間質問にお答えいただきましたが、また分からない文章にぶつかりました。executedやdeemed to constituteなどの訳し方がさっぱりわかりません。どなたかご教授いただければ、ありがたいです。This agreement may be executed in any number of counterparts and any single counterpart or set of conterparts signed, in either case by all the Parties hereto shall be deemed to constitute a full and original agreement for all purposes. constituteは構成するという意味だと思うのですが、すべての目的において、完全で当初の契約を構成するというような、中途半端な訳しかできない状態です。どうぞ、よろしくお願いします。
