オフセットリンク torque in について

オフセットリンクの英語表記が理解できません。 TORQUE IN x FACTOR = TORQUE OUT ご教授お願いします。 また製造会社に聞きお返事もらったのですが私の英語力が乏しすぎ理解できません。 The offset link acts as a torque multiplier in a way that the torque that goes into the link and passes through the gears and is a different torque output. The current nomenclature is torque in x factor = torque out. 宜しくお願いいたします。

#1です。 offsetは状況によって色々訳し方がありますが、どうもこの場合、この器具の一般名称、または機能の名前のことを言っていそうですね。そうすると意味は、人が操作するレンチのようなものとトルクを作用させるターゲットのものがあってそれらを直接連結するにではなく離して(offset)使いそこをこの器具でつなぐ(link)と言うことかと思い直しました。 「オフセットリンクは、トルクを増大（倍数で変化）させる様に働く。それは、この機構（器具）に加えられたトルクが、ギアによって異なるトルク値の出力になると言う形で働く。現在の機構では、 入力するトルク値 x ファクター（係数）= 出力されるトルク値　 となっています。」

これは何かのメカニカルな機構の様なので、詳しいことはわかりませんが、トルクを加えると(Torque In) 全体の機構に組み込まれたギアを通じて別のトルク値（Torque Out) に変換されて出力に伝わると言うことでしょう。 Factorはその全体の構造の中の係数と言うことでしょう。 「オフセット（あらかじめ設定された）連結は、トルクを増大（倍数で変化）させる様に働く。それは、この機構（器具？）に加えられたトルクが、ギアによって異なるトルク値の出力になると言う形で働く。現在の機構では、 入力するトルク値 x ファクター（係数）= 出力されるトルク値　 となっています。」
