「そういうものだ」２種類の英文訳・用法の違い
日本語で、「そういうもんだよ。」「そういうものだ。」の英訳を調べると、 大きく分けて、howを使ったものと、the wayを使ったものの２つに分けらるようですが、 That’s how it is. That's the way it is. この二つの使い方、意味の違いはあるのでしょうか？ それとも、lots ofとa lot ofのように、全く同じ意味で言葉だけが違うものでしょうか？ よろしくお願いいたします。

the way how → how the reason why → why のように縮約簡略化してきた表現ですので、 全く違いはありません。 但しThat's the way it is. がより口語的な言い回しであることは論を俟ちません。

lots of が a lot of の複数だからといって、 それで使い分けているという感じではなく… 「話し言葉では lots of がカジュアルかな～きちんと感をだしたい時は a lot of 」 という感じで話している感じがします。 ご質問のhow とthe wayの文は、 lots ofの使い分けとはちょっと違い、 ニュアンスを微妙に使い分けています。 That’s how it is.→ そうなのよね～。 ～ってわけなのよ。 That's the way it is.→（結局)ってなっちゃうってことなのよ～。 （そういう流れになっちゃう…） という感じで使い分けていますが…。 人によってちがうかもしれません。 ご参考になれば幸いです。

下記の英文にある"this way"とは "a woman of twenty-eight"という表現を指しています。一応、ことばを加えながら訳してみましたが、英文の内容とあっているのでしょうか？ 2. The preposition “of” can only be used this way when the relationship between two nouns is being shown after the noun that is the subject. “Of” is not used this way to show the relationship between a pronoun and a noun or a noun that is the subject of a sentence. These are wrong: I am of wealth. Everest is of much snow. 前置詞“of”が”a woman of twenty-eight”のような形でつかわれるのは、主語（名詞）の後ろに２つの名詞（意味を補助する関係にある）が続いた場合だけです。 1つの代名詞または1つの名詞が文の主語となる名詞の意味を補助をするために“of”が使われることはありません。つまり下記の英文は間違いです。

友人が"Only"について教えてくれているようなのですが、詳しく知りたいので力を貸して頂けますでしょうか。よろしくお願いします。 "Only" refers to it being something and nothing else. For example if I said "I only eat vegetables." That would mean that I eat vegetables and not meat, chicken, fish etc. In the context I used it in ("It's only cold in the mornings,") it would mean that it is cold in the morning, but it is not cold during the rest of the day. In a different context it could mean that it is always cold never hot, warm or cool in the morning. A clearer way to say what I meant that would have my intended meaning regardless of context would be "It is cold in the mornings only."
