Even one painful spot in your body makes you appreciate health. 上記では painful spot を主語にしました。 Even if を使うと、 Even if you have only one painful spot in your body... 身体にひとつ痛みがあった「としても」 となって先が続けられません。 ちなみに何ものであるか分らない it を主語にするのも変です。 If it has even only sore point of body 百歩譲って If it has only one sore spot in the body としても、it (それ)ってなんだろうと思います。

名詞の前に付く以外を考えてます。 いっぱいありすぎるので 例文に出せず、とてもおおざっぱな意見でご意見をもらいにくいかもしれませんが、 なにかしらご意見をもらえると嬉しいです。 文の中、特に動詞付近にある（助動詞の後ろだったり、もちbe動詞の後ろだったり、一般動詞の前だったり）ある場合、その文の中で一番いいたい箇所を not , even , only の意味でくっつけて考える。 ええと 頑張って例文をいくつか・・・ １ He didn't get married to you because you're beautiful. ←「あなたが美しいからというので結婚したわけじゃなく・・・」的な。 2 I only read three of those books. ←「それらの本のなかの３冊だけを読んだ。」 ３ I didn't even know his name. ←「彼の名前さえ 知らなかった。」 ４ He doesn't like this meal very much. ←「 （その料理が少しは好きでも）めっちゃ好きという訳じゃない」 上記的な 風に使ってしまって 訳を考える時もそのように書いてしまって いいのでしょうか？ 『一番いいたい箇所をさがして それを not , even, only, ときにはjustがあればそれの意味と引っ付けてしゃべる。ききとる。 』を すると間違えないのではないかと思っています。 ご意見を下さい。宜しくお願いいたします。

回答ありがとうございます。 やはり even if は不適格なのですか。 自分でもちょっと怪しいかなとは思ってました。 自分が英作してた使役動詞を作っての回答例、助かります。 itは自分の悪い癖かも知れません。
