Gです。 補足質問を読ませてもらいました. ＞彼の言葉を自分勝手な意味に取らないように心がけてます。 I always try not to take his words as in my way of understanding. 彼はその言葉を自分自身の解釈をして不機嫌になったようだ。 He seemed to get annoyed because he interpreted the word in his own way. これだと、ネイティブの人は意味がわからないのでしょうか？ 分からない事はないと思いますがが、この方が簡単だろうと言う事で書かせてもらいました. ＞彼の言葉を自分勝手な意味に取らないように心がけてます。 I always try not to take his words as in my way of understanding. これはasをなくし、my own way ofにして、I always try not to take his words in my own way of understanding.としたら分かり易くなるとは青もいます. しかし、アメリカ人であれば、なぜ奏しなくてはならないのか分からないと思います. 先ほども書いたように、自分勝手の意味としてとって悪くない事もあるからですね. (はっきりいって、日本人が日本語の文章を理解する時に、１００％に近い人が自分勝手な理解をしているのではないでしょうか.） よって、私は、誤解しないように、と言う表現をしたのです. ＞彼はその言葉を自分自身の解釈をして不機嫌になったようだ。 He seemed to get annoyed because he interpreted the word in his own way. これも確かに、自分自身の解釈をして、と言う事になりますね。 でも、なんでそれが不機嫌になる理由なのか理解できないと思うんですね. because he took the word in a wrong wayと言う言い方をして、意味をとり間違えた、（だから、不機嫌になったのだ、と理解できるわけですね)と言う表現もできると思います. この取り違う、と言う表現は最初の文章にもつかえますね. では、よいGWを！！

I always try not to misunderstand him. >彼はその言葉を自分自身の解釈をして不機嫌になったようだ。 He seemed to get annoyed because he interpreted the word in his own way. He seemed to get upset because he misunderstood the word. He probably misunderstood the word because he got upset without any good reason.と言う表現をして、たぶん彼は誤解したんだよ、なぜって、他に不機嫌になる理由なんてないもの. と言うような文章が作れると思います. 誤解と違うフィーリングのように思えるかもしれませんが、自分勝手な意味にとっても正しい可能性がありますね. ですから、しないようにすることは、正しく理解するのではなく、間違って理解しないように、と言う意味のはずですから、misunderstandと言う単語を使う事になるわけです. これでいかがでしょうか。 分かりにくい点がありましたら、また、補足質問してください。

質問ですが 彼の言葉を自分勝手な意味に取らないように心がけてます。 I always try not to take his words as in my way of understanding. 彼はその言葉を自分自身の解釈をして不機嫌になったようだ。 He seemed to get annoyed because he interpreted the word in his own way. これだと、ネイティブの人は意味がわからないのでしょうか？ それとももっと分り易い言い方として、 I always try not to misunderstand him. He seemed to get upset because he misunderstood the word. などがあるということですか？ よろしくお願いします。

"…the future was his own, to change his life in!"という文章の中で、本来はchange his life in (the future)となるところをto 不定詞の用法を使っているので、（ ）内がないと思うのですが、どうでしょうか？ ややこしい質問ですみません。最初change inという熟語だと思ったのですが、辞書になかったので、このように考えました。正しい解釈の仕方があったら教えてください。

"thesunsetwasveryred"の心情を述べよ、という問題です。 His handwriting in particular seemed to emphasize his need for attachment and his hear of separation, He would write long paragraphs of sentences which were made up of words joined together(e.g."thesunsetwasveryred"). Dispite attempts to help him to space his words, he found it difficult, and because angry and distressed when help was offered. 私は、「怒りとストレスを感じている」と回答しました。 dispiteと書かれているので、読み取る箇所はこれで正しいはずです。 ただ、こうした文章読み取りの問題はまったく未経験で、回答に自信がもてず悩んでいます。 私の回答が正しいかどうか教えて下さい。 もし違っているのであれば、どう解釈すればよかったのか教えて下さい。
