回答者１番です The following contest is scheduled for one fall. →私はてっきり、次の試合の話までしているのかと思ってしまいましたが、これなら、 「これからの試合は一本勝負が組まれています」→「次の試合は一本勝負です」となります。つまり、日本語訳はよいと思います。英文もおそらくこれでいいと思います。 Introducing first from (出身地), weighing in at (体重)pounds. He is the ～champion.(名前) Introducing first from New York, weighing in at 300 pounds. He is the American champion. （勝手に空所を埋めましたが） これで意味が通ると思います。
