この構文がわかりません。

He sometimes learns much more rapidly than might be expected from one who is naturaly so slow. という文があるのですが、might be expected from～　で「～からはとても予想されないほど速く学ぶ」 という訳になるそうです。この場合、このmight be expected from～の主語はHeなのでしょうか？ その後のone以降がよくわからなくなるのですが…どなたか教えて下さい。

expect O of/from ～は「～から」ではあるのですが， 日本語的には「～に予想・期待する」の方が自然です。 「～に注文する」というのも英語では order O from ～です。 そこから注文品がくる，という感覚です。 ここも，予想する内容が発せられるから from ですが， 日本語的には「その人に対して期待する」と言います。 とてもゆっくりなのが当然の人に対して期待するだろうよりも ずっとすばやく，ということです。 こういう than V というパターンは形上，主格の関係代名詞と説明できなくもないですが， 先行詞がない（無理やりには rapidly という副詞ですが）ので， 一種の省略表現・慣用表現としか言いようがありません。 than is usual「いつもより」とか，構造上，主語は何？ということは言えません。 ただ，「～より」として比較級 more rapidly につなげればいいです。

意味は 彼は、普段同じほど鈍い人から予想されるのと比べて、時にはずっと早く学べます。 アスペルガーの話でしょうか？ 文法的にこのthanが何なのかはよく解らないですね。asみたいな関係副詞でしょうかね。
