英語の訳あっていますでしょうか？

なんとかセレクトの話ですよね。以前におつきあいしたので、今回もちょっと一緒にやらせてください。前の質問で私が書いた、英文理解の方法に「文の骨格だけ抜き出してみる」ってのがありました。それを今回も実践するとこんな感じ。 migrants can be found and (can be) nominated by employers or governments どうでしょうか。だとすると takeo1983 さんの訳例の場合は主語が違うんじゃないか、また “受け身” として訳されてないんじゃないか、という点がマズイと思います。 > 移民の意図は 主語は migrants で移民（または移民“たち”）のほうでしょう。Intending はそれを修飾しているわけです。意図という言葉を活かすなら Intending migrants で「意図する移民」かな。 まあこれは直訳なんで、意訳すると「移民（移住）希望者」ぐらいの意味でしょう。 > 見つける事が出来る can be found です。受け身です、直訳すると「見つけられることができる」ということ。少しカッコイイ日本語に意訳すると「見出（みいだ）されることが可能になる」って感じですかね。 それから and で続いてもう一つありますね。 nominated 。これは (migrants can be) nominated ということですね。ですからここも受け身としてしっかり訳して「推薦される（ことができる）」にしたらどうですか。ですから、can be found and nominated を一緒に訳すと「見出され、（ビザのために）推薦されることが可能になる」じゃないですか。 > オーストラリア従業員や これはうっかりミスですね。employer は雇うがわの人、「雇い主」「雇用者」です。雇われる側の人「従業員」は employee です。あわてずに単語をよく見ることと、ちゃんと辞書をひくことが重要です。 > 州・テリトリー政府によって これはいいですね。 以上を踏まえれば、もう大丈夫でしょう。

移民についての短文ですが、上手く訳すことができず、困っています。 日本語訳をお願いします。 I believe immigration is the body and soul of America. It is a cornerstone value of our nation that constantly renews its greatness. But today,our immigration system is in crisis. It is estimated that there are now over 11 million illegal immigrants is the United States, 1.7 million of whom are children. Because of a shortage of visas, many immigrant families are forced apart. Husbands and wives, parents and children,and brothers and sisters are unable to reunite. This system allows unscrupulous employers to ignore the law and to use undocumented workers as cheap labor. It's time to face the facts: our immigration system is badly broken and we have to find a practical but fair solution to fix it.

前回から引き続きご丁寧にありがとうございます。 「移民の意図は」は主語が「意図」で修飾が移民になる。今ご指摘されて始めて気づきました。ありがとうございます。 もっと文をシンプルにして訳してみる癖をつけてみます！ can be は found と nominated 二つにかけられているのですね！ タイミングが悪く質問を閉じてしまいましたが、再度自分なりにやくしてみました。 移民しようとしている人はオーストラリア雇用者や州・テリトリー政府によって見つけられ、熟練visaを推薦される。 回答は出来ませんが、ありがとうございました。
