海外現地校への入学手続き
南アフリカへ赴任予定です。 子供（小5）を現地の私立高へ入れるのですが 現地校の願書で不明な個所があるので質問します。 まず提出書類で子供と両親のIDのコピーとあります。 IDとはパスポートで良いのでしょうか？ もう一つ、「申込み用紙を提出しなさい」の後に 8つの文があり 1.Copies of the applicants 3 most recent reports. 2.A recent passport sized photograph. 3.A copy of the applicants ID or Birth Certifcate 4.Copies of both Parents ID 5.A non refundable Application Fee of R700. 6.Deposit 7.Foreign Nationals: Work/ study permit 8.Lurits Number if previously registered in a school in SA. とありますが7と8の文について教えてください。 よろしくお願いします。

7は就学許可書とでも訳せばいいものです。働く人は就労許可書がいるし、勉強のために長期滞在する人は就学許可書がいるのです。 ちょっと意外な感じがしますよね。日本の場合は、家族と一緒に来ている子供には「就学」とか「留学」とかそういう在留資格はいらないのですが。 申請の方法は在日南アフリカ大使館に行って聞いてくるのが一番いいのではないでしょうか。 私がなんかでたまたま知っているだけで実際に申請したことが無い、というのもありますが、こういうのは提出先に直接聞くのが一番間違いの無い方法です。 8は、お子さんが初めて南アの学校に行くのなら関係ありません（と書いてある）。 南アでは、LURITS (Learner Unit Record Information and Tracking System)というのがあって、就学履歴が簡単に参照できるようになっているみたいですね。 なお、IDは日本人の場合一般にパスポートのことです。 日本で言うところの在留カードみたいのをすでにもっているのなら、それでもいいんじゃないですかね。

こんにちは。 今度交換留学でカナダへ行くためStudy Permit申請の準備をしているのですが、 私は在日韓国人でonline申請ができないため手こずっています。 日本人はパスポート原本の提出が不要 Citizens of Japan, unless applying for a permanent resident travel document, do not need to submit their passport. Japanese applicants should submit only a photocopy of the bio-data page of each applicant’s passport. とあったのですが、これは日本の発行したパスポートを持ってる日本人ということですよね？ ちなみに日本での在留資格は特別永住者です。 ということはパスポート原本を送らなければいけないとして、 審査に通った後の返信はパスポート返却のためemailではなく郵便で届くと思うのですが、 返信用の封筒や代金等のことがHPに書かれていません。 国際宅急便で送ろうと思うのですが、返信用の封筒はどうすればいいでしょうか・・・？

こんにちは。 海外（イギリスーロンドン）のチケットを購入したいのですが、英語訳がよくわかりません。 以下がその英文です。 Non-members can only purchase tickets in person at the box office and must be in possession of a passport or other photo ID. 自分で訳してみると、 「メンバーでない人はそれぞれボックスオフィスのみでチケットを購入することができ、パスポートや他の写真IDが必要です。」 となったのですが、これで良いのでしょうか？ 間違っているなら、誤訳を教えていただきたいのです。 お願いします！
