asは時々意味を取るのに苦労しています。 以下の５つの文についてas の使い方がよく分かりません。 文によって省略があるようです。どういうものが省略されるのでしょうか？ 主語とか、be 動詞とか、原則があると思うのですが、どなたかお分かりの方お教え下さい。 １．If they were wandering,( as opposed to living in permanent structures,) they would probably have used tents with postholes, just as the Bedowin of today do. 接続詞で、theyが抜けていると思います。文意は解ります。 2. Mr. Putter & Tabby シリーズを読んでいるのですが、意味のわからない文がありましたので、教えて下さい。 １：Pour the tea の中で Ｉｎ ｔｈｅ ｍｏｒｎｉｎｇｓ looked for the other as soon as they opend their eyes. ２：fly the plane の中で Tabby was not happy at the toy store. ランダムハウス英語辞典のasの成句の中に、 as…as they come /as…as they make them {英話}この上なく…で,超… と出ていますが、 なぜこういう意味になるのでしょうか。 they come とか they make them は、この場合、 どういう意味なのでしょうか。

あるミュージシャンのインタビューを聞いた人のコメントでこういうものがありました。 he always says he uses words as sounds この一文のみです。 彼はいつも「彼はwords as soundsを使う」と言う ということですよね？ words as sounds とはどういう意味でしょうか。 すみません、よろしくお願いいたします。

Japan's climate is typically temperate, as benefits its latitude,and contrast with the tropics, where the growing season is year round and temperatures make a relatively slow pace of life advisable. という文なんですが、as benefits its latitudeについて、「benefits」はここでは動詞みたいなんですが、asの後ろにいきなり動詞が来ても良いのでしょうか またここはどう解釈すればよろしいでしょうか お願いします

「I found a huge variety of interpretations of the owl as I was research for the book ,even within the same culture.」という文がありました。 このasはwhenでも良いのでしょうか？ 良いのだとしたら、asとwhenのニュアンスの使い分けはどのように行うのでしょうか。 そして後ろのeven以降の節はなぜ後ろに置かれたのでしょうか。情報の重要度でしょうか？ owlの直後に、このeven以降の節を置いても構わないのでしょうか。

The rich can buy large quantities of freedom; the poor must do without it even though, by law and theoretically, they have as good a right to just as much of it as have the rich. 上記の英文でas good a right to just as much of it as have the rich の部分を解剖していただけませんか？ 意味は解っているつもりなんですが・・・ as goodのasは、 as muchのasと、 as have the richのasの両方に呼応しているのですか？ 1つの英文内で、1つのasが2つのasにかかっているなんてお目にかかったことがないように思うのですが・・・私の経験不足でしょうか？ それともjust as much of～が独立した熟語のようになっているのですしょうか？ このjust as much of のasがよく分かりません。 right to ～は、～以下の権利と考えていいのですね？ 宜しくお願い致します。
