"Do you think I bundle up ? It depends on." でいいような気がします。 ここで "Depends on what?"とツッコミが来たら、 "It depends on the contry or region that you've grown up." ...すみませんブロークンな英語です。

The doctors said honey can be effective to sooth a sore throat. in・・・その分野で。to・・soothするためには くらいの違いだと理解しています。どちらを使うかは筆者のお好みだと思っています。形容詞のあと、例えばbusyならin をたくさん使うようにしているのですが、inがいいのかtoがいいのかで迷います。 ちょっと話はずれますが、 Using honey for couphs is effective to us / for us. は前置詞のtoかforかで迷いますが、この場合は、 to・・・私たちへ向かった 直接のイメージ（私たちだけっぽい） for ・・・一般的でもあるけど、私たちにも向かった イメージ で使い分けていますけど、これもそんなもんでいいのでしょうか？ ご意見をください。

And it still is in some countries. 「最近まで、これ（文法翻訳方式）は、多くの国において、学校で外国語を教えるための最も一般的なメソッドでした。そして、いくつかの国では、いまだにそうです。」 この文の it still is in some countries.の部分の訳が、なぜ上の訳のように「そうです」と訳せるのでしょうか？ soとかが入っていないのに。 どういう風に考えたら上の訳になるのか、どなたか教えてください。お願いします。
