Pass yarn under and over tip

棒編(英語) Pass yarn under and over tip of right hand needle to make a st. K1, (pass yarn under and over tip of right hand needle to make st, K2tog), K1 です。

pass yarn under and over tip of right hand needle to make stの部分は表目の直前の掛け目の仕方を初心者向けに丁寧に説明してあります。一般的な英文編み図では単にYO(Yarn over)とされます。

  • and think over ...

Open your mind to a new world, get new information, accept each other's existence, and think over what we can do to make the best use of ourselves ! A, B, C and D think over what we can do to make the best use of ourselves ! (4)同時に,不定詞 to make the best use of の目的語にもなっているのでしょうか?

「Tp」=p into front of 2nd st, p into front of 1st st, slip sts off needle togetherというものです。もうひとつ「Tk」というのもあり、=k into back of 2nd st, k into front of 1st st, slip sts off needle togetherと上記の表編版のようです。

  • The Dark Glasses

I took walks before supper round the back lanes, ambling right round the Simmondses' house, thinking of what was going on inside. One dusky time it started to rain heavily, and I found I could reasonably take shelter under the tree which grew quite close to the grimy window of the inner office. I could just see over the ledge and make out a shape of a person sitting at the desk. Soon, I thought, the shape will have to put on the light. Winding yarn twice ro

Cast on 41sts (1)K1, (slip1, k2tog, passo; k1)*4, k8 winding yarn twice round needle on each st, (slip, k2tog, passo; k1)*4 = 25sts (2)K8; k8, dropping extra wound-round loop on each st; k9 (3)k2tog, k7, (k2tog)*4, k8 = 20sts と段々網目が減って行くのですが、winding yarn round needle on each stの意味が分かりません。

Russian claims in the Ottoman Empire were denied following the Bolshevik Revolution and the Bolsheviks released a copy of the Sykes–Picot Agreement (as well as other treaties). They revealed full texts in Izvestia and Pravda on 23 November 1917; subsequently, the Manchester Guardian printed the texts on November 26, 1917. This caused great embarrassment between the allies and growing distrust between them and the Arabs. The Zionists were similarly upset,[citation needed] with the Sykes–Picot Agreement becoming public only three weeks after the Balfour Declaration. The Anglo-French Declaration of November 1918 pledged that Great Britain and France would "assist in the establishment of indigenous Governments and administrations in Syria and Mesopotamia" by "setting up of national governments and administrations deriving their authority from the free exercise of the initiative and choice of the indigenous populations". The French had reluctantly agreed to issue the declaration at the insistence of the British. Minutes of a British War Cabinet meeting reveal that the British had cited the laws of conquest and military occupation to avoid sharing the administration with the French under a civilian regime. The British stressed that the terms of the Anglo-French declaration had superseded the Sykes–Picot Agreement in order to justify fresh negotiations over the allocation of the territories of Syria, Mesopotamia, and Palestine.

Thomas Sowell’s outstanding book “A Conflict of Visions” explores the virtues of working realistically within constraints, and the evils that ensue when people ignore or try to run roughshod over them. He would say the constrained vision is wiser whether the subject is tipping, expanding health insurance or choosing between capitalism and socialism. In the unconstrained vision, you ask: What’s the solution? In a constrained vision you ask: What’s the best set of trade-offs and reforms we can actually achieve? The constrained vision is wiser. So I’ll cheer on those who want to move America to a no-tip system. In the meantime, there are ways we can all make the best of a bad system: ・ Tip 20 percent when the meal is over $25 and 30 percent when it is under. ・ Always, always, always leave a tip in a hotel room. ・ To combat implicit bias when tipping drivers and others, commit to a percentage for all rides and stick to it. ・ Understand that the advantages you enjoy are products of both your individual effort and privileges you didn’t earn. Tip accordingly. The Tipping System Is Immoral https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/24/opinion/tipping.html

With smaller needle, pick up and knit about 3 st for every 4 rows, along vertical left front neck edge, continue picking up the number of cast on st for the left sleeve, back, and right sleeve sections, and the same number for right vertical neck edge as for the left edge. Do not go along lace panel – this already has a finished edge. (Pick up fewer st around if you want to bring up the neckline.) Work back and forth: Knit 3 rows. (Knit more rows if you want to reduce the width of the neck opening.) Then bind off knitwise, with medium to snug tension. Neatly sew ends of the new edging to the ends of the top of the lace panel. Weave in ends, and tighten up any holes under arms as necessary.
