英語で先生に「クラスのみんなはまだ全員そろっていない」

英語の基本はSimpe is bestです。もし先生がクラスの担任で生徒のことをよく知っているならなおさらです。 "Not everyone yet."(まだ全員じゃないです） "We are still waiting for ○○"(○○君を待ってます＝○○君がまだ来てない） "Someone is missing."（誰か足りません） など。他にも既解答に良い例が出てますね。 でも、この質問が自分の教室でなく先生も担任でない場合なら Some of us are not here で十分よろしいと思います。（勿論この英文を自分の教室で使ってもOKです） 教えられた英文はお忘れください。まったく意味をなさない文章です。

Somebody is missing.がやっぱ自然で伝わりやすいんじゃないかな。 Some of us have not yet come. One of us is not here.

三つともとても簡単でわかりやすい表現ですね。 いろんなシーンにあてはめて活用したいと思います
一番簡単でむっとした表情で"Not everybody here!"でもいいんじゃないかな。 とか、"We don't have everybody (here) yet."でも可かな。日常会話はとにかくかんたんに、かんたんに行きましょう。

＞some of us are not here. それで問題ありません。 ＞All members still everyone of the class doesn't become complete ＞だと教えられました。 誰に教えられたのか知りませんが、まったくもって意味不明です。

状況や言い方によって表現がいろいろありますが、本来いるべき人・あるべき物が無い場合、米語ではmissing という単語を良く使います。 例えば Some of us are still missing. （誰かまだいない。まだ抜けている） Someone is still missing. Taro and Ichiro are missing. ご参考まで。

こんにちは。学校の英語の先生といってもロクに外国人と話せない人も多いですよね。さて、タイトルの日本語を英訳してみました。どれが一番いいでしょうか？ 他にもっといい表現がありましたら、教えてください。 (1) the skill of English that even if you have not got you can become an English teacher but if have not got you can't talk well with foreigners. (2)the skill of English without which you can become an English teacher and you can hardly talk with foreigners. (3)the skill of English such as you can still become an English teacher but you have enough trouble of speaking with foreigners without it. TEDのさいとの動画でわからない英文法を見つけました。 スピーチ専門のサイトです。 many of the speakers here, many of you in the of you in the audience have that creative edge. このmany of the speakers here にはbe動詞がないのに ここにいる、観客の中にいるという表現になっているのがよくわかりません。 You're driven to do something that everyone has told you is passible. もどこに何がかかっているのかよくわかりませんし、なぜこのような文法が成り立つのかわかりません。 またこのスピーチのタイトルが「on being just crazy enough」日本語訳が 適度な狂気なのですが、これもなぜそう訳せるのかわかりません。 The crazier I get onstage, the more entertaining I become. この表現も口語表現特有の言い回しなんでしょうか？しっくりきません…。 よろしくお願いいたします！
