Swimming is easy.は正しい文だと思いますが（一般的な話として、水泳はやさしい）。それに関して質問です。 「“私にとって”水泳はやさしい」といいたい場合、My swimming is easy.でいいのでしょうか。 動名詞の意味上の主語が、所有格の形で動名詞の直前につく例として、His getting up early is unusual.がありました。これは自分でもすんなりくるのですが、My swimming is easy.となると違和感があります。 といいますのは、たぶんunusualは一般的な評価であるのに対し、easyと感じるのは私本人であるという違いがあるからだと思います。 そこで形容詞によって、「所有格＋動名詞 is 形容詞」の形式をとれない場合があるのかなと疑問に思いました。 どなたかご存知でしたら教えてください。
