(1)that they will be kept informed は文法上どう理解したらよろしいでしょうか？ ここでのinformedの後に何かが抜けているようにも感じますが、、、、。 (2) they will be kept informed を能動態にしました。以下であっていますでしょうか？ we will make them informed～ 能動にしても意味がよくわかりませんでした。 (3) that は関係代名詞で、穴(先行詞の位置）が informedの後で、先行詞はtenantsでしょうか？ この文章、前半がさっぱりわかりません。 どうかお教えの程どうぞ宜しくお願い申し上げます。

通訳ガイドの説明の文で、 One of the most important things they do is to provide foreign visitors accurate information about Japan. （通訳ガイドの最も重要な仕事のひとつは日本を訪れた外国人に日本についての正しい情報を提供することです） という文があるのですが、この文の注釈として 「to なしで provide foreign visitors と書くときは with accurate information とwith が入ります。」とあります。 この意味が全然わかりません。 文法的な解釈がわからなくて・・。 普通、provide someone with somethingなのにどうして be to provideの時は withがいらないんでしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。m(__)m

受動態から能動態への書き換えの際に気になった事なのですが、 受動態から能動態への書き換えで、受動態で省略されているby...以下の動作主が、能動態に書き換えることによって示す必要がある場合、普通文脈から読み取ってweやyou,theyなどを使うのですが、例えば以下のような文だけの書き換え問題の場合、問題集の答案にはweしか認めないような書き方をしているのですが、別にwe以外でも大丈夫なのでしょうか？心配です。 よろしくお願いします。。 受:Can such a state of things be put up with? 能:Can we put up with such a state of things? 訳:このような状態にどうして我慢できようか。

She lost her credit card . 男: Oh, that could be a big problem . it would be best to send her an international money order. 女: Good idea. I heard they sell them at the post office . they sell them の them は an international money order ですよね。だけど they はありませんよね。 省略でしょうか、印刷ミスでしょうか？
