Bには私もちょっと引っかかりました、がそう大したことでもないと思います。 B「ああ、ニューヨークにもあるよ」が直訳でしょうね。 でも会話の場所によるんじゃないでしょうか、ニューヨーク以外なら質問の訳文も可能ですね。しかし場所がニューヨークなら、この直訳か「ここにもあるよ」が自然だと思います。また原文では「確か」の訳を正当化するような記憶のボカシはありません。その点厳密には誤訳ですね。

ご回答ありがとうございます。 会話の場所は日本という設定です。 「ニューヨークにもあるよ」が直訳になるんですか。 theyがニューヨーカーを指しているんでしょうか？ 文法的な構造がよくわかりません。
