Wind chill is how cold we feel when we're outside, not the actual temperature on the thermometer. It is based on how quickly your body leses heatin the wind and cold. When the wind is blowing outside, the wind chill can quickly take the heat out of your body, and your skin temperature will go down. When scientists first studied wind chill, they used research done in 1945 by Antartic explorers who measured how fast water became frozen outside. But water freezes faster than our skin in cold air, so this wasn't a good way to measure the wind chill. In 2001, the U.S. government measured wind chill more precisely by testing how quickly a person's skin froze. Twelve volunteers sat in a cold wind tunnel, and researchers measured the heat flowing from their cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin. One thing they learned was that frostbite (or freezing of the skin) happens quickly on exposed of your nose, and your ear lobes. Picture quality has gotten a lot better in TV. や what has gotten into that kid?!で、has gottenとありますが、 過去分詞が、よくわかりません。 gottenにしなくても、gotでいいんじゃないの？って思うんです。 Winter is approaching, and it has gotten cold. It's the season for boiled tofu and heated sake rather than chilled tofu and beer. だんだん寒くなってくるこの季節。これからはビールに冷ややっこじゃなくて、熱燗に湯豆腐だね。 この文の場合なんかは、it has gottenではなく、 it's getting coldでもいいのでは？と思うのですが、 説明を詳しくしていたければ、感謝です。おねがいします。
