例えば、 [終了までの時間]：QDの終了までの猶予時間を指定します。[終了までの時間]のボックスに値を入力してください。 のような感じで、Minutes = delay interval ということで、 Minutes until shut down とは、そういう名前の付いた入力ボックスかなにかでしょう。分で時間を指定するためのものでしょう（[ ]でくくるなど、スタイルの指示があると思います）。

何とか、日本語に訳してみました。 「シャットダウンまでの時間：記憶ディクスのシャットダウン開始（にともなう）表示が出る前に、（希望する）遅延時間を入力して下さい。」 といったような意味でしょうか？

どうして、元の日本語ないの？？？ はそれとして、 何となく、想像力をたくましくして、英語を読んで言いたいことを想像するんですね？（それを英語にするわけですよね？） これ、英語がしっかりしてないので、それを日本語なしで、英語にしろといわれても、思い通りの英語にはなりませんけど。 ？？？？
補足
この文章は翻訳の仕事の一部で、英語から日本語に翻訳するものなのでもちろん日本語の原文はありません。 それとあなたのいう英語を読んで英語にするという意味がよく分かりませんでした。 これは英語の校正ではなく日本語に翻訳するものなのでそこのところ お願いします。

先日、『更新プログラムをインストール中』で質問していた者です。 その後、WindowsUpdateで設定を変更して、シャットダウンしたところ、画面が青くなって英文のメッセージが出ています。冒頭はA problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.です。 立ち上げの時も調子が悪かったのですが、こんな画面は初めてです。どうすればいいのか教えてください、お願いいたします。 ※OKWaveより補足：「ソニー製品」についての質問です。

OSはWINDOWS XP、富士通FMVディスクパワー CE8/85Lです。 DVD－ROMとか、CD-R・RWなどがついている液晶ディスプレイの比較的最近でたパソコンです。 4時間ぐらいインターネットをして、たくさん音楽ファイルをダウンロードしていました。 そうしたら音楽ファイルのダウンロード終了後、フリーズしたので、CTRl+DEL+ALTをおしても反応しなかったため、アプリケーションを終了できないまま、電源をつけるところから電源を切ってしまいました。 そうしたら、次につけたときに、 THE WINDOWS HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO YOUR COMPUTER （コンピューターへのダメージを回避するためにウィンドウズが閉じられました） と出たんですが、 このあとどうしたらパソコンをつけられるようになるんでしょうか？ 『ご迷惑をおかけしております、WINDOWSが正しく開始できませんでした。最近のハードウェアまたはソフトウェアの更新が原因の可能性があります。 ディレクトリーがおかしいと思われるので初期化してください』、と言われましたが、初期設定済みで送られてきて、自分では初期設定が難しいので、なんとかならないかな、と思い相談させていただきました。 F8をおしながら再起動させようとすると、 画面には、 a problem has been detected、（問題が見つかったので）and WINDOWS had been SHUT down to your damage to prevent to your computer.（さっきと同じです） それから、ハードウェアかソフトウェアのマニファクチュアに相談しろ、と英語で書かれています。 F８をおしながら起動させて、safeモードを選んだら、 オペレーティングシステムの選択というコマンドが出てきて、 WINDOWSという選択しかでないので、enterをおしたら最初の文章に戻ってしまいます。 何か最善の策を教えてください。よろしくお願いいたします。
