it's you or me amplified

17歳のカルテという映画を見ていて気になったフレーズです。 スザンナという主人公が精神科病棟で二年を過ごして、回復し、社会に復帰する、そのエンディングで流れるスザンナのナレーション中の一文です。 crazy isn't being broken or swallowing a dark secret. it's you or me amplified. （訳）狂っているといっても、心がばらばらに壊れているわけじゃないし、暗い秘密を抱えているわけじゃない。誰にだってあること。 このit's you or me amplifiedの意味がなんで「誰にだってあること」になるのかがいまいちしっくりきません。ここでのmeはスザンナのことですね。 amplifyの使い方をよく理解していないためしっくりこないのかもしれないと思っているのですが、どなたか少し説明していただけますでしょうか。よろしくお願いします。

amplify というのは 拡張する/増幅する/展開する/誇張する/敷衍する/膨張する などという意味ですよね。（楽器の音を拡張させるあのアンプです）(^^) なので、 crazy の状態は、決して壊れてしまっているのではなく、 あなたも私も、心が加速して膨張したり、気持ちが増幅したり、 そのためについ逸脱したりしてしまうことだってあり得るはず.... →　つまりそれは「誰にだってあること」 と意訳して表現したのではないでしょうか。 ウィノナ・ライダー、まだ瑞々しかった頃の映画ですね。(^^) 参考までに書いてみました
