英語の略が難しい。どんな意味でしょうか
アメリカのある公証人役場の印鑑にこう書いています。 LOUIS BELISO COMM.#1579907 NOTARY PUBLIC-CALIFORNIA ALAMEDA COUNTY My Comm.Exp.June 16,2009 そこで質問ですが １．COMM.#1579907のCOMM. ２．Ｍy COMM.Exp．June 16.2009は「Ｍy COMM.の有効期限は2009年6月16日」のことでしょうか？ここの「COMM.」は何でしょう。 ３、その次に State of California County of Alameda 〉ss. のような書き方がありますが、「ss.」ってどんな意味でしょうか

アメリカに38年半住んでいる者です。 私なりに書かせてくださいね。 これは、commission(名詞・動詞)の略です。 委任と言う事です。 Notary Publicはかなり簡単に「委任されます」。 テストなしで応募すればすぐなれる(もちろん年齢とか犯歴などは条件を満たさないといけないですが)物です。 カルフォルニア州では数時間のオンラインの授業を無料で受けられnotary publicになれます。 私も数年やりましたが価値なしと判断してやめました。 ペンチを大きくしたようなシールはまだありますが法的には使えません。 expired（EXP）させましたので。 ssですが、これは読む必要があるときはto witと言うように発音します。 9:00 amをin the morningと読むのと同じ感じですね。 意味合いはwakkarahenさんがおっしゃるとおりです。 (一応)ラテン語のScilicetと言う事になっています。in and for the state and. county above namedと言うようなフィーリングで使われているわけです。 これでいかがでしょうか? 分かりにくい点がありましたら、補足質問してください。

I`m not sure of when I will finish school because there are alot of circumstances involved. First, I have just moved to a different state so I don`t want to go to school immediatly because my tuition would be very high (takai!!!). And then, I am also hoping to get a sponsor for my tuition when I begin my new school out here in California. There are hospitals which would sponsor my schooling but in return I have to work for that hospital for at least one year after graduating. It`s okay but I am very picky and can`t decide who I would rather work for. Another circumstance is that some of my completed courses will not transfer and so I will not receive credit for those classes.
