PCを立ち上げるとモニタにエラーが出る

買ったばかりの新しいPCを今まで使えていたモニターに接続すると 以下のメッセージが最初に出てきてそれ以上先に進めません。 パソコンはDELL社のDimension C521 AMD Athlon(TM) モニタはノーブランドのCRTです。 パソコン側の差込口がMiniDsub15ピンでモニタのケーブルも同じ 形状です。モニタはさっきまで古いPCで問題なく使えていました。 エラーメッセージは以下のとおりです。 よろしくお願いします。 Unsupported Video Configuration Detected This computer has an add-in graphics card , but the monitor cable is plugged into the integrated video connector. To attach the monitor cable to the add-in graphics card, play the monitor cable into the add-in graphics card connector. This may require video adapter or video adapter cable.

詳しい状況が良くわかりませんが…。 エラーメッセージを読む限りでは、コンピューター側のモニターケーブルを差し込む場所が間違っているようです。エラーメッセージによると、ご使用のコンピュータにはグラフィック・カードを載せてありますよね。ケーブルはグラフィック・カードに繋がっていますか？オンボードの方のビデオ・コネクターに繋がっていませんか？古いモニタをグラフィック・カードに接続するためにはアダプタが必要な場合もあります。その可能性も考慮して再度ご確認ください。

差し込んでいるコネクタは説明書を見ると VGAビデオコネクタという名前で 「お使いのモニターにVGAコネクタがある場合は、そのコネクタをコンピューターのVGAに差し込みます」と説明があります。 MiniDsub15ピンの形状ではないのですがPCIカードスロットにも コネクタがあります。この形状は台形で縦に4列、横に15列の 穴が開いているコネクタです。その横にあるマークは矢印が上に 向いていて形が凸のボコッとした部分を横にした感じの線になっています。

上の回答と併せてもう一度考え直してみたら オプションでATI(R) RADEON(R) X1300 Pro256MB DDR(DVI/TV-Out付)というものをつけているみたいでした。 こちらにケーブルを差し込めばいいというメッセージだったんですね。 となると、こちらにつなぐ為にケーブルを変換すればいいという ことでケーブルの形状を調べてみると http://www.at-mac.com/used-display/connecter/wani_connecter.html にDVIケーブルの写真が載っていますがPCについている のは縦4列横15列の台形の形をしているので、 何を挿せばいいのでしょうか？

このＰＣにはオプションのビデオカードが追加されてます。 でも、モニターケーブルはオンボード側のビデオコネクターに繋がってます。 ビデオカード側のコネクタに繋ぎ直して下さい。 って事です。

ビデオモードがサポートしていないなどの注意画面が表示されているのだと思われます。 接続された画面にあっていないビデオの出力がなされているのかもしれません。一度解像度などの設定か、ドライバが適切かどうかを確かめる必要があります。 起動させないことにはどうしようもありませんので、セーフモードで起動して、ドライバなどを確認し見てください。メーカーサポートページを見ると、適切なドライバ（最新のドライバ）がダウンロード可能な場合があります。 http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/ja-JP/Help/323ef48f-7b93-4079-a48a-5c58eec904a11041.mspx http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows/ja-JP/Help/0386b009-5f30-45c7-80c8-ff0395cc24091041.mspx たしかVistaはインストール時に自動的に最適解像度に設定する機能があったような気がします。そこで表示されない、ビデオカードが合わない…という表示が出て、セーフモードなどでどうにかしても解決されない場合は、サポート外ということになるかもしれません。
