和訳とSVなどを教えてください。
It semms as natural to man as walking ,and only less so than beathing.Yet it needs but a moment's reflection to convince us that this naturalness of speech is but an illusory feeling.和訳と言うより文の構造かなり詳しくを教えてください。二で出てくるbut=onlyとしか解説がありませんでしたので、全くと言って良いほど分かりません。

No.1で回答させていただいたmanicmondayです。 No.2さん、私の疑問に答えていただきありがとうございました。また、これは話術とかスピーチについての内容だということもわかりました。ありがとうございました。No.3-5の回答者さんによっても構造がわかりやすく説明されています。 文の構造ですが、単純にすると以下のように言い換えることができると思いました。 It is as natural (to man)as walking. (SVC)（(人間にとって）（it=話すということは）歩くことと同じぐらい自然なこと）（ここでitが示しているのは「話すということ」ではないでしょうか？） （And) it is less natural than breathing. (SVC)(（そして）（話すということは）（無意識に行える）呼吸することほど自然ではない）"so"はnaturalという言葉をさしています。 But it needs only a moment's thinking to convince us that this naturalness of speech is only an illusory feeling. (SVO)（it=to不定詞＋that～）(ここのthisはnaturalness of speechを強調していると思いますので、「このスピーチが生まれもってのものであるということが錯覚であるということを私たちが納得するためには一瞬考える時間を要します（ちょっと考えないとわからないぐらい話がうまくて自然である）」と、いうことだと思いました。満点の回答にはなってませんが、参考になれば幸です。いかがでしょうか？

私は 3番目 に回答した者です。うかつな回答を私はしてしまいました。ごめんなさい。 2番目 の英文の和訳のしかたは 2番目 に回答されたかたの和訳が適切であるように、私は思えてきました。その場合は、2番目 の S + V + O にあたるのではないでしょうか。

semmsはseems, beathing はbreathing でしょうか。 最初の文で難しいところといえばsoでしょうかね。 これはnaturalを指すと考えられますので、この文の訳（直訳です）は 「それは人間にとって歩くことと同じくらい自然なことであり、息をすることほどには自然ではないと思われる」 くらいではないでしょうか。 2つ目の文の構造は、itはto convince us that...を受ける仮主語で、that以下はconvince の目的語でしょうか。 直訳は 「しかし、このスピーチの自然さというものはただの幻想的感覚にすぎないということを我々に納得させることは、ほんの少しの時間の熟考を必要とする」

It seems as natural to man as walking, and only less so than breathing. 和訳はあるのでなんとなく分かります。しかし、倒置などいろいろと文法的要素が詰まっているので出来る限り解説してください。 as natural to man as というのはas asの間にこのような感じにto～がが入ることがあると理解しておけばよいでしょうか。 and only less so than breathing.これ「呼吸するに比べてわずかに自然でないとはいえ」と訳出していますが、よくわかりません。 御願いします。
