bash は昔米国による Japan Bashingで有名になったように、もともとは ”たたいて壊す”という意味があります。 Bash things は基本的にはそのような意味で比喩的に使われたりしていると思います。またそこから派生して bash out などは”やっつけで仕事する”というような意味だったりします。他にも up in などの前置詞をともなって破壊するの意味があります。 Bash thingsのみで決まった意味を持つのではなく、掲載の例文がどのようなコンテクストで使われているかによってこの場合のbashの意味も違ってくるような気がします。
