洋書で分からない部分があります。教えてください！
今Miss Lonelyheartsという本を読んでいます。 その中で分からない部分があるので教えてください！ 'What we need to do is figure out some kind of wild publicity stunt to boost sales,' suggested Max. 'At the moment we're runnning what everyone else is runnning. See - here's the competition,' he said, pointing to the telly, where Entertainment Tonight was screening. この後の１文なのですが・・・ 'Why buy us when you can get a fix at four-thirty every day?' 全くワカリマセン。ぜひアドバイスいただけたらと思います。よろしくお願いいたします。

本を読んでいないので、確信はありませんが・・・ Entertainment Tonightって確か芸能界のニュースやゴシップの番組ですよね？文脈から察すると、その番組は4:30に放送されているのでは？そうなると、最後の分は、多分「消費者は、毎日4:30に(芸能ゴシップの）｛麻薬のような｝ハイが楽しめるのに、何で私たちの雑誌（もしくは新聞）を買うと思う？」。 間違っていたら、ごめんなさい。

＃２です。 ＃３さんのが正解ですね。 私はfixは問題解決として、”毎日四時半にほしいものが手に入るって言うのに…”としてみます。

最後のほうの文は ”問題が＄4.3で解決できるのになぜうちの商品なんか買うんだよ。”かも知れませんね。

あんまり自信ないですけど、こんなカンジですかねぇ・・・ 「売上をドーンと上げるためには、なんかすげー広告打つしかねーな。 うちなんか、どこでもやってることしかしてねぇもんな。 見ろよ、よそはこんなことやってるんだぜ」 と、テレビを指差すと、ちょうどEntertainment Tonightがオンエアされていた。 「毎日４：３０の固定枠が買えるなら、買ってみねぇか？」

「いわゆる…」という意味で、「what we call/what is called」というのと、「so to speak/so to call it」というのと、「as it were」という構文があるのですが、使い分け方を教えて下さい。問題集には、 彼は外国語を学ぶことに関してはいわゆる天才だ。…as it were/so to speak 彼はいわゆる時の人だ。…what we call/what is called これはいわゆる逆効果というものだ。…what we call/what is called となっているのですが１つ目の何が違うのかわかりません。
