But I'm getting old, I had not studied hard, therefore my grades were going down. my activity is getting down year by year. Now I'm not tough, I am timid. So I want to study hard, and I want to have confidence myself even just a little.

意味のつかめない文章があるので教えてください。 1. What is worth doing at all is worth doing well. 特にat allがわかりません。 2. I fell asleep reading. I remember other things I was doing before reading, but it's all a blur. itは何を指しているんでしょうか。 3. My hair is in need of a conditioning due to the excessively dry weather and that should leave me most relaxed. 「ものすごく乾燥した気候のせいで私の髪はコンディショニングが必要」まではわかるのですが、thatより後がわかりません。 よろしくお願いします。

ネットで、私がスペイン語でメキシコの方とやりとりしているのを見て、アメリカの方から、 Sadly, I'm poor at Japanese (though I try) and only marginal at Spanish. というコメントを頂いたのですが、 前半は、 「悲しい事に、（トライしてみたが）日本語はうまく使えない」みたいな感じかな、と思うのですが、後半の、 be only marginal at Spanish とは、どういう意味でしょうか？ marginalを調べたら、「周辺の、あまり重要でない」などの意味とあったのですが、 どういうニュアンスなのかよくわかりません。 どうぞ、よろしくお願い致します。
