I've been thinking a lot about writing a book. 私なら、a creative-writing class I tookと書いてしまいそうなのですが、なぜthe one creative-writing class と強調（？）のような書き方なのでしょうか？ 「たった一つの」と言いたかったからでしょう。たくさんあれば、一つぐらいCをもらっても何ってことないわけですから。

the one creative-writing classのthe oneですが、 本を書こうとずっと思っていて、このwritingクラスも取っているのに、 まさにこのクラスでCを取ってしまったという感じでしょうか。 他のクラスはAだったとか？ 強調している感じがしますね。 この人は、本は書けるのでしょうか？

多分唯一参加したcreative-writing class という意味合いで書いているのではないでしょうか？ それぐらい宗教に縛られてたということでは？
