structureのthe wayの意味

structureの意味は the way in which the parts of something are put together or organized となっていますが、このthe wayは状態という意味でいいですよね。 http://www.ldoceonline.com/dictionary/way_1 ここの16番目の意味でよいでしょうか？state,conditionですね。

それでいいと思いますが，こういう way は基本，「やり方，方法」であり， そこから「点，様子，具合，状態，ありさま」と広がっていきます。 英語では way 一語でこういう意味合いであり，英英辞典でどの意味というのを超えて way のイメージとして理解するといいと思います。 そういう意味で，訳として不自然であっても，とりあえず「方法」なり「やり方」なりで イメージとして日本語で置き換えればいいと思います。
