3つめは She hopes ... 最後以外は正解です。 最後は (4) が正解。 単語のかたさなどが試験で問われることはありません。 というか，それ以上に文法的に誤っているものは選べない。 日本語で「～に～を～」と言えるものが何でも英語で SVOO となるわけではありません。 「人にものを説明する」と言えても， explain もの to 人 explain to 人 that/wh 節 としか言えない，というのは有名ですが，Yahoo Answers でのやり取りを見てると かなりの人が誤って使っています。 英語圏でない人のことが多いと思いますが，日本人以外でも間違えやすいのでしょう。 他に suggest to 人 that 節 say, speak, talk など，多くの「言う・話す」系の単語で SVOO は使えません。 tell が例外的に tell 人 ものや tell 人 that/wh 節と使えます。 多くの動詞が「人に」で to 人となります。 一方，inform は inform 人 of ものという形で 「人にもの（のこと）を知らせる」 ただし，inform 人 that/wh 節で「人に～と告げる」 インド英語では inform 人 ものという形も用いるようです。

(1)の訳、訂正ありがとうございます。 “has + 過去分詞”の現在完了形（継続）の訳のニュアンスにし忘れていました。 「たくさんの英語を学び続けています」…ということですよね。 (5)はinformの使い方の間違いの指摘ありがとうございます。 inform A of B ※A（人）にBについて知らせる という使い方を辞書で確認しました。覚えておきます！

イギリス人の友人から以下のメールが届きましたが、couple of them~から始まる後半の部分の意味がわかりません。英語に詳しい教えて頂けませんか？ --- I see. Seem to be many Americans here. I am told quite a number of teachers are American. Maybe 50ー60％? Couple of them thought I was until I informed them otherwise!
