英作文はまるで駄目なんですが、それらしく考えると In Vietnam, rice cropping has an important position in its agricultural system which is different from its neighboring countries. みたいな感じの文にしてしまうという手もあるかもしれないと思いました （私の作文は英語として変かもしれませんけど）。 agricultural system という語を１つの文の中で2度繰り返すという書き方は感心できないんじゃないでしょうか。

関係副詞について質問です。 例題で… (1)This is the point( ) I can't understand. (2)This is the point( ) We are different. 答え (1)Which (2)Where そこで、 I can't understand the point. We are different in the point. この上記の２文のヒントが書かれていたのですが、 何故２行目にinが入って１行目には入らないのでしょうか？ Whereには前置詞が含まれ例えば「in which」がWhereになるとは分かるのですが、この文章の分解をした時にinが入るかどうか自分自身で分からない限りWhereとは判別出来ません。 どなたかご教示下さい。 宜しくお願い致します。

非制限用法の訳し方が分かりません [Modern agriculture, in which chemical fertilizers are used, became common.] 言いたいことは「近代の農業では化学肥料が使われていて，一般的になりました．」だと思いました． しかし，これを「化学肥料が使われている近代の農業は一般的になった．」と訳すと，制限用法みたいになってしまい，化学肥料を使わない近代の農業もあるかのようになってしまいます．（実際はあるかもしれませんが，この英文においてはないことになっている） このように文中に非制限用法の関係代名詞がきたときはどのように訳せばいいのですか？
