The memo has an enbbarrasing typo in it. という例文があるのですが なぜin itが付くのでしょうか。慣用表現ですか？

「The memo has an embarrasing typo.」で終わらせると不自然な英語になります。「in it（その中に）」は付けるものです。まあ、そういう意味では“慣用”なのかもしれません。

Take an umbrella with you. の "with you" のように日本人には一見不必要に見えるものが英語では必要な場合があります。これはそういうものと覚えるしかないような気がします。 ところで、 The memo has an enbbarrasing typo in it. という文章自体に "enbbarrasing" というタイポが含まれています。実はそれが落ちじゃないんでしょうか？ 本当のスペルは "embarrassing" です。 （en- ではなく em- で始まり、b がひとつ、r がふたつ、s がふたつです。）
