Googleなどで調べてみると、 ・純固定資産(Net Fixed Assets)とは、 固定資本減耗を控除した固定資産 ・the cost of assets minus the depreciation expense incurred to date ・the purchase price of the asset (gross fixed asset) less the accumulated depreciation (the sum of the annual amounts charged for the "wearing out" of the asset などと、色々な論が出ています。

10 hundred thousands equal one million. We write the number one million in degits as 1000000. A group of three digits is called a period, the next three digits are the thousands' period, and the next three digits are the millions' period. Each period is separated by a comma. In each period, the pattern of ones, tens, and hundreds repeats itself. Beginning at the right, the valeus of the places are: ones, tens, hundreds; thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands; millions, ten millions, hundred millions. Each place has a value 10 times greater than the place to its right. This system of writing number is called the decimal sys-tem. [Demical] means having to do with ten. In the decimal system, the place values are based on group of 10. You've already been learning how this works, but let's review the basic ideas. In the demical system, whenever we have 10 of a certain place value, we write it as 1 in the next highest place value.

How did the Convention agree to have Senators selected? The Convention soon moved toward appointment by state legislatures, a move opposed by Madison and Hamilton, who wanted to weaken the state legislatures. But to their dismay, in the end the Convention settled on equal representation of each state in the Senate with each state’s legislators choosing its Senators. This meant that the Senate didn’t just represent the states as political bodies, but that it literally represented the state legislatures. The House belonged to the people; the Senate belonged to their state governments. 回答はここに出てくる「in the end the Convention settled on equal representation of each state in the Senate with each state’s legislators choosing its Senators. The convention settled on equal representation of each state in the Senate with each state's legislators choosing its Senators.

Any rights inhering in an individual, therefore, must be “stolen” from society as a whole. Classical economists led by Adam Smith, a prominent figure of the Enlightenment, in contrast, developed the notion of the marginal contribution of each individual to the production process as the basis of his or her incomes. Implicitly, Smith’s followers argued that Marx’s view was inconsistent with human nature and therefore could not explain economic development. Marx did recognize that acquisitive human nature was not compatible with a collectivized state.
