WinXPとUbuntuとのデュアルブートのXPが起動しない

WinXPとUbuntuとのデュアルブートにしています。 数日前からXPが起動しなくなりました。 電源ONからOS選択画面になり、XPを選択しても セーフモードや通常起動の選択画面になります。 どのモードを選択してもブルー画面になり、 　　 Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hare drive to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer. Tecnical infomation: *** STOP:0x00000007B (0xF78AA524,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000) とでてます。 セキュリティソフトはマカフィを入れてあります。 ドライブを入れ替えてもいません。 どのように対処したらいいでしょうか？ Ubuntuは起動します。 よろしくお願いします。

この場合は、デュアルブートの問題からは離れ、XPだけの問題に 絞れますね。 ウィルスの可能性、チェックディスクをやってみてくださいと出ていますので、起動フロッピーディスクから立ち上げ、 chkdsk c: /f コマンドでチェックディスクをしてみることでしょうね。 これで起動できれば、マカフィのウィルススキャンを実行することでしょうか。 フロッピーディスクがないパソコンの場合、CD-ROMを作る手もあります。
