すみません、Wikiからの引用ですが、 現存の株主に企業からオファーされる株式のことだそうです。新株引受権のことではないでしょうか。 Right shares are the shares which are offere by the company to the existing shareholders. こちらのright issuesについての説明のほうが分かりやすいようです。 http://www.moneyextra.com/dictionary/rights-issue-moneyextra-003502.html rights issueを実施する企業の新株について、株主に現在所有している株式に応じて株式を購入できる。もし企業のオファーがon a one for two basisであれば、持株数の半分の株式を購入できる。 と説明されています。

たぶん stock acquisition rights/share acquisition rights を言い換えているのだと思います。直訳的には日本語の用語だと「株式取得権」です。新株引受かどうかは、記事によります。 その企業は、5株に対し1株ベースの株式取得権をイシュー（発表もしくは行う）するだろう 企業買収や株式交換、新株発行、株の単位変更などの記事において、ある企業が既存の5株に対し1株の新しい株式の権利を、与えることを述べています。 これらは、記事の他の部分を読めばはっきりします。
