訳を聞きたいです。
よく分かっていないので易しく教えて欲しいです。

(1)I suppose one trouble with Darwinism is that, as Jacques Monod perceptively remarked,
everybody thinks he understands it.

私は進化論の一つの問題は、ジャック・モノの言うように、みんなが彼がそれを理解すると思うことだと思う。
この訳はどうでしょうか？　もっと分かりやすい訳を教えて欲しいです。

区切りが多くて分からないんですが、順番を変えると
one would have thought a remarkably simple theory.ということでしょうか？
どうして主語が後ろのほうに行って、soは中途半端な位置にあるのでしょうか？
It is はどことつながっているんでしょうか？
難しくて分かりません。

文の構造が知りたいんですが

という感じでいいんでしょうか？
自信がないんですが・・。

私が思うに、進化論の一つの問題は、ジャック・モノが鋭く指摘しているように、みんな自分がそれ（進化論を）理解していると思っていることだ。

実際それ（進化論）は、物理学や数学の理論のほとんどどれと比べても、単純な理論で、子供じみているくらいだと、考えた人もいただろう。

語順を変えると
One would have thought (that) it is, indeed, a remarkably simple theory, childishly so, in comparison with almost all of physical and mathmatics.
ということです。

“childishly so”のところは、直前の“simple”について追加の説明をしている挿入句みたいなもので、“so”は“simple”の言い換えです。
つまり、“childishly so”＝「子供じみているくらい、そうだ」＝「子供じみてているくらい単純だ」ということです。

everybody thinks....の部分ですが、このheはeverybody を指しているのではないかと思います。「みんなが自分はそれを理解していると思っているということ」かと。
つまり、ジャック・モノが鋭く指摘したように、進化論は知ってるよとみんな思いこんでいることが問題だと私は思う、というわけですね。

(2)It is, indeed, a remarkably simple theory, childishly so, one would have thought, in comparison with almost all of physics and mathematics.
分かりやすいようにこの文の要素だけを抜きますと
It is a simple theory in comparison with physics and mathematics.
ということになります。
最初のitはDarwinism を指していますので、「進化論は～に比較すれば簡単な理論だ」ということですね。
indeed, childishly so, one would have thought などが挿入されてますが、これを適当な場所に戻したりして分かりやすく書き直しますと

Indeed one would have thought that it is a remarkably and childishly simple theory in comparison with almost all of physics and mathematics.
