いつもお世話になっております。 以前に、海外レストランへの予約メールについて、質問させていただき、皆様のおかげで、予約を無事にすることができました。 今回の質問なのですが、 英語が苦手ですので、レストランに行く前に、 前もってメニューを見れたらと思い、メールでメニューを添付してもらいました。 以下が、メニューと一緒に送られてきた文章です。 Further to your email, please find attached the restaurant information sheet (subject to changes without prior notice) for all the restaurants for your perusal. The venues, cuisines, operating hours and the approximate prices are indicated there-in. Currently we are not holding any reservations for you; please advise us your preference and the following details to enable us to do the necessary arrangements. Booking Name Venue Number of Persons Exact date & Time Contact number Please be advised that all restaurants and bars are completely Non Smoking. Credit card details to guarantee the reservation (credit card number and expiry date) Kindly note that for 6 persons and above, we send you a booking guarantee form for you to fill out and send it back to us with photocopies of your credit card (front and back side). Please note that the solicitation of credit card details is only for the purpose of holding the reservation. Guests may settle everything directly in the restaurant upon consumption on the same day either via cash or credit card. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your guests to restaurants and should you have any queries or require further information or assistance please do not hesitate to contact us immediately. 上のような内容なのですが、クレジットカードのことなどが書かれているのはわかるのですが、予約が通っていないように感じます。 （予約完了したメールは、何通もやり取りし、長々としていましたので、レストランからの１通目の返信で仮予約としてきたメールに、今回返信してメニュー添付のお願いをしました。） これに対しての返信ですが、お礼の言葉だけでも大丈夫でしょうか？ 度々の質問、失礼致します。 どうぞ、よろしくお願い致します。

スロベニアのVila Bledというホテルに宿泊するため、 ホテルのサイトから予約をしました。 ホテルからもらった回答の中に次のような文章がありました。 We would kindly ask you to send us credit card to guarantee the reservation ( you can send also per fax if you prefer : ++386 4 5741 320) このうち「send us credit card」とはどういうことなのでしょうか。 メールでクレジットカード番号を送るということなのか、 その場合有効期限も記す必要があるのか。 経験者の方でわかる方がいらっしゃいましたら、 教えてください。

ホテルのguaranteeの文章について教えて下さい。 In case you are supposed to check-in later than 16:00 o'clock, you are kindly requested to guarantee your booking. We will then keep your reservation in any case. Please guarantee with your credit card. We honour: Mastercard, Visa, American Express, JCB-Card ホテルの予約の画面で、上記の文章が書かれていました。 これって、16:00 o'clock以降に遅れるおそれがあるのなら、クレジットカード番号を書いて送れ、 ということですよね？ でも、それをせずに16:00 o'clockより前にチャックインしなくても、 いずれにしても、部屋は確保します。とも書かれています。 ではクレジット番号を送信する必要性はどこにあるのでしょうか？

海外のホテルにEmailで、予約の問合せをしたところ、幸いなことに「we have space in our garden room at a daily rate of US$80 + 11% tax. If you wish to reserve this, we will need your credit card details as guarantee.」と返事がきました。クレジットカードの番号を書いて送るのは少し怖いような気がするのですが、それを要求されていると解釈したのですが、これは、海外では一般的、常識的な手続きなのですか？メールにクレジット番号を書いて送ることにちょっとためらいがあります。海外のホテルを自分で予約するのは今回が初めてです。お詳しい方のアドバイスをお願いします。

Then, please, could you fill in the authorization letter, which we have added to this message. Please, don't forget to sign the authorization letter and mark "price for visa support (3000.00 RUR)". We can provide visa support earlier than one month prior to arrival but in this case we have to charge but not authorize the price for 3000 rubles for visa support from your credit card. This amount can be used as a deposit for your accommodation and extra services.
