この文章の構造を教えてください。
以下の英文が文法的にどうなっているのか、教えて下さい。 特に、she had jokingly said had become......のあたりの構造をお願いいたします。 意味としては、「お茶がPopsiclesの他にはただ一つ、気持ち悪くならずに飲める飲み物になった」とrorryが冗談ぽっく言った。 というような事だと思うのですが。 これは、前後の脈絡から判断しただけで、それがなければ、私には分からなかったと思います。 ちなみに、状況としては、Rorryは現在つわりがひどく、水分補給のために以前Cassieのお母さんからPopsiclesを勧められていました。 そして英文は、RorryがCassieに恋人との関係を尋ねた時の何気ない会話です。 "Hmm," Rorry mumured, settinｇ down the tea she had jyokingly said had become her veverage of choice by virtue of being the only thing --besides the Popsicles Cassie's mother ha recommended--that she could keep down.

お尋ねの文の構造は関係詞の前の挿入と言いますか関係詞連鎖です よくあるのは The man who I thought was honest betrayed me. みたいなやつで The man who (I thought) was honest betrayed me. と括弧書きで考えれば前後がつながります そうすると the tea which (she had jyokingly said) had become her veverage of choice と（ ）でくくりその前にwhichを補えばhad becomeはthe teaからつながっていてその間にshe had jyokingly saidが挿入されたと理解できます なおおもしろそうな英文ですので差し支えなければ出典をお聞かせください

またしてもこの構文ですか。いやもちろん、悪いのは wakattasan ではまったくなくて、この構文なのですけど。 これは関係節です。二つの文にしてみましょう。 先行詞 ＝ the tea 関係節になる前の文 ＝ She had jokingly said the tea had become her beverage of choice ... はい、もうお分かりですね。the tea を関係代名詞にして先行詞の後ろに持って行き、省略すれば、ご質問の文のできあがりです。 意味は wakattasan の解釈で正解です。

I had a woman up here last week at my feet, and when she gave me the bill you'd of thought she had my appendicitus out. の you'd of thought she had my appendicitus out. を正しい英文にしなさいってゆう問題があるのですが、 私は、 『先週足が具合悪くてここに女性を呼んだら、彼女は私にすごい請求書をよこしたの、その請求書を見たら君は以下の考えを持つよ、彼女が私の盲腸炎を治したんじゃないかって。』 って訳して、 you'd of thought she had my appendicitus out. の部分は、 どこが間違っているか、また、あえて直すならどこを直したらいいのかわからないので、どなたかアドバイスをよろしくお願いいたします。 私は、 you had thought that she had my appendicitus out. 『あなたはthat以下の考えを持つよ、彼女が私の盲腸炎を治したんじゃないかって。』 と直したのですが、あまり元と変わらないし、微妙なので困ってます。 お願いいたします。
