in とof の違い

以下のとおりお答えします。 ＞in とof の使い分けの違いがよく理解できていません。 ⇒それぞれの「前置詞の原義（意味機能）の違い」を考えると分かりやすいかも知れません。 こんな違いがあります。 ☆ in：所格・位格を支配するので、強いて訳せば、「…することにおける～、…することでの～、…することによる～」といったニュアンスです。 ☆ of：所有格・同格を支配するので、強いて訳せば、「…することが持つ～、…するという～、」といった意味合いになります。 ということで、違いを浮き彫りにするようにして訳せば、こんな感じです。 ＞He taught me the fun in talking to people. 「人に話しかけることにおける楽しさを教えてくれた」、 「人に話しかけると楽しいことがあると教えてくれた」。 （その楽しさとは、例えば、「共感」とか「笑い」などでしょう。） ＞He taught me the fun of learning. 「学ぶことが持つ・学ぶことの楽しさを教えてくれた」、 「学ぶことは楽しいことだよと教えてくれた」。 （その楽しさとは、「学ぶこと自体」・「学ぶことそのもの」です。） つまり、上の文では、「話しかけることから得られる何か別の楽しさ」を教えたと言っているのに対し、下の文では、「学ぶことそれ自体の楽しさ」を教えた、と言っていることになります。

The annual Food Festival featured some of Spains's leading ches live on stage in front of the hundreds in attendance last week. 上記の文の「the hundreds in attandance」について in ではなく of が正しいような気がするのですが、inが適切なのでしょうか？それはなぜでしょうか。 それとも in attendance が慣用句なのでしょうか この文における in と of の違いを教えて頂けるとうれしいです。 よろしくお願いします。

「～の変化」を表現したくて change を辞書で引くと ・change in ～ ・change of ～ の二つが出ています。これらの使い分けがよく分かりません。 辞書によると the change of life (女性の)更年 a change of seasons 陽気の変わり目 the ～ of voice (思春期の)声変わり a change in the weather 天候の変化 a change in working hours 就業時間の変更 となっています。 (1) これらはそれぞれ of, in のどちらでも良いということでしょうか？ (2) それとも、個々の状況について of, in の使い分けを丸暗記しないといけないのでしょうか？ (3) 覚えなくても、of, in の使い分けに何か違いがあるのでしょうか？

in the back of と in back of の違いです。 1 The garden is in the back of my house. 2 the answers were in the back of the book. 「答えは本の巻末にあった 。」 3 the grounds in back of a house 「家の裏手にある庭」 4 He stood in back of the car. ☆３、４は behind でも 代用できるようです。 ☆in the back of ～は at the back of ～ でもいいようです。 ともかく ある範囲の中の奥まったところにあることを しめしているようです。 との見解をもっています。 theあるなしで 随分示される範囲が違っているようなのですが、はっきりした解説を見つけられずにいます。 ☆のところの考え方はあっているのでしょうか？ 補足があれば是非ともお伺いしたいところなのですが、 辞書でもまだ満足いく解説を得られてません。 両サイドは違うものなんだ！ としていいのでしょうか？ 宜しくお願いいたします。
