My wife and I have been married for 12 years. We have three boys. My wife is a high school teacher. She teaches higher-level math, and we have always had her students over at our house for help outside of school. I have always been supportive of this, but last year she had a student who didn't really need help come over. come overはcoming overとしたくなるのですが、なぜcomeなのでしょうか?

 come overはcoming overとしたくなるのですが、なぜcomeなのでしょうか? https://e-grammar.info/infinitive/infinitive_42.html

>come overはcoming overとしたくなるのですが、なぜcomeなのでしょうか? 一方、原文の場合help (him) come overとhimが省略されているのは、she had a student who didn't really needという先行文からの流れがあることと、help+目的語+原形「~が… (come overに比べて、coming overは「饒舌」な感じを受けます。) * she had a student who didn't need help (him) come over: 「彼女には、はっきり理解するのに助けを必要としない学生がいました」。 * she had a student who didn't need help his coming over: 「彼女には、自分ではっきり理解することを助けてやる必要のない学生がいました」。

For 18 years I was in a loveless marriage. The one good thing that came out of that marriage was my beautiful 14-year-old daughter. My ex-wife and I have been divorced for a year now and I'm feeling emotionally available. I have met -- or shall I say re-met -- a woman I have known since second grade. She was my sister's best friend and was always around our house growing up. She was kind of like a sister, but I always had a crush on her. Now, so many years later, we have connected. We see each other every few weeks and text each other. This has been going on for almost a year. My crush has come back, but it is different this time. I feel like I'm falling in love with her. I'm not sure how she feels about me, but we do have an incredible connection. She calls us kindred spirits. And that's where my question lies. How do I take a 45-plus-year friendship out of the friendship zone? Should I tell her how I feel or not? I have tried, but the words just wouldn't come out of my mouth. She calls us kindred spiritsはどのような意味でしょうか? あと、the words just wouldn'tのwouldn'tはwon'tだと何が違うでしょうか?

We are very sorry that we haven't contacted you before now. We have just been too sad and we are all missing Micky terribly. What an awful shock this must have been for you too and we are sorry Cori. Micky had not been well in her mind for the last couple of years. She said that she would feel OK one minute and then the next, she would feel very depressed and sad. Also, Micky had been unwell physically. She had 3 operations in hospital in 1 year - 4 wisdom teeth removed, tonsills out and then an operation for a broken hand. Poor Micky had had enough of feeling so sick and the Doctors, counsellors, etc (and us too), were not able to help her to feel better. Micky committed suicide at our home on 29 July, 2007. We are unsure what mental illness Micky had, but we believe that it was an illness called Bi Polar. Psychiatrists (5 in total) kept saying that she had depression and kept putting her on tablets that did nothing to help. We think they were very wrong with their diagnosis. Cori, we are very sad and we will always be. We loved Micky very much and we miss her every day. Please write to us when you can and we hope you like the photos of Micky. lots of love,

My incredible husband of two years has a 4-year-old daughter with his ex-wife. I have actively helped raise "Christie" since she was barely a year. We haven't communicated with the mother since the time we took her to court for refusing visitation, but my husband and I have always provided for Christie in every way possible, above and beyond the court-ordered child support. My wife and I tried for years to get pregnant, and welcomed a wondrous baby girl late last year. We always thought we’d likely have only one, not least of all because of our difficulties and that by the time we were ready for another we might be too old. not least of all because of our difficultiesはどのような意味でしょうか?

  • walked me through

I've been friends with "Myrtle" for nearly 20 years. She used to work for me. I'm a very strong, independent woman. I've never needed many friends (I've been married to my best friend for 37 years). Myrtle has always been a drama queen. She demands a lot of attention. She is exhausting. Her husband and I have also butted heads over the years. It drains me to hang out with them for any period of time. The last time she had one of her explosions, I backed off. My therapist has walked me through my feelings and I'm now very clear that being with her is unhealthy for me. I tried to back out slowly, but then she created drama over nothing again -- exploding, and then coming back and apologizing. walked me through my feelingsとcreated drama over nothingの意味を教えてください。

I got married five years ago. It has never been a great marriage, but it’s been pretty good. I love my wife most of the time. A year ago I made a very stupid mistake. I got an email from an old girlfriend. We emailed back and forth then met. We talked over old times, kissed a few times, and decided to not meet again. My wife found out. She got mad and told me to leave, so I did. I apologized, and she took me back under a few conditions. First, I had to let her have all my passwords and agree that she could read all my email. I agreed. She also wanted counseling. I agreed to that too. She then told me that I’d have to agree to never be out of her sight unless I was at work or she knew where I was (every outing would have to be cleared with her). We talked over old timesのoverはaboutと同じでしょうか?あと、every outing would have to be cleared with herの意味を教えてください。

We have been working as prostitutes here in our state and in several nearby ones. We know we need help, but we are afraid to ask for it. Hotlines and trafficking programs have called the police on friends of ours who reached out for help. How can we get help without being forced to testify against my boyfriend and our other friends? • sexual overtures

Years ago, while my wife and I were separated, I foolishly slept with “Molly,” who became pregnant with my daughter “Ally.” I reconciled with my wife, and ultimately we won custody of Ally when she was 9, after Molly went through a series of boyfriends and made repeated sexual overtures toward me. My wife has been incredible, but Molly’s influence has been strong. After completing her court-ordered therapy, Molly filed for custody when Ally was 13, and two years later Ally went to live with her permanently. Ally went from respectful and sweet to insubordinate and cruel. Finally, she used racial epithets against my wife and stepdaughters, and I threw her out of the house. She did the same thing when my wife and I came to her high school graduation. Molly looked so proud of her. Ally is now 21. I haven’t spoken to her beyond a phone call on Christmas and her birthday unless she needs money. My wife openly grieves for the little girl that we lost, and my stepdaughters refuse to acknowledge Ally. made repeated sexual overturesとfiled for custodyの意味を教えてください。
