余談ですが、 ニューヨーク ＝ 大都会。リベラル。銃規制推進 南部 ＝ 田舎。保守派。銃規制反対 のような図式もあると思います。

I was educated in Georgia and most of my classmates were very open to homosexuality, some of them were homosexuals themselves. Also, Southern states have large urban areas, as well. Tourists have been to Atlanta, Dallas, Austin, Birmingham, Charleston. They know what a city looks like. Maybe some New Yorkers need to consider opening their minds and not treating these folks as "Bumpkins."
