By the time, by then 文
By the time I got to the party, most of the other guests had left. のようにby the time文より、後の文はもひとつ過去になるので had+ part participleになるのはわかるのですが、 I had a lot of work to do last night. I was very tired by the time I finished. By the time I finished my work, it was too late to go shopping. などは、 どのように考えればいいのでしょうか? by the timeの文と同時刻の出来事と考えてよいから同じ時制になるのでしょうか？ また by the time と by that time (by then）に感覚の違いはあるのでしょうか？ 例文を見てもよくわかりません。 よろしくお願いいたします。

まず、by the timeは後ろに節が続くことが多いです。後続のwhenの省略とみなしてもよいのですが、実際にはwhenは省略される方が普通なのでby the timeを接続詞句と考えた方がよいです。一方、by that timeやby thenは副詞句です。 過去完了はちょっと複雑ですので必要のない場合は使いません。by the time I finished my workですと、主文（it was ...)よりも前の動作である可能性は高いのですが、その点を強調したいわけではないので単純過去形にするのが普通だと思います。

by the time finish work, I'll be tired という例文がありました。なぜ 未来完了形のI'll have been tired とならないのでしょうか？ あと、「恋愛にはもう満足した」というときは、I'm now satisfied with love stuff でいいのでしょうか？？ わかる方、説明よろしくお願いいたします！

「週の終わりにはその仕事を終わらせるつもりです」 と表現したいのですが下記の２文で迷っています。 (1) I expect to finish the work by the end of the week (2) I expect to have finished the work by the end of the week 完了させるというニュアンスなので未来完了時制を持つ(2)だと思っているのですが、(1)のように単純未来でも可能なのかな？とも思っています。 実際はどちらが正しいでしょうか？ お知恵を下さいm(_ _)m

すみません、この考え方が適正か見てもらっていいですか？ (1)I had worked for this company for five years when I got married. 「結婚した時には この会社で５年は働いていた。」 (2)I had worked for this company for five years until I got married. 「私が結婚するま５年間この会社で働いていた。」 →今も働いているかまでは 言っていない。 NG (3)I had worked for this company for five years by the time I got married. これは よくない文。 I had finished my contract by the time I got married. So I needed to renew it. ならいい文といえる。理由はby the timeは主文の完了した動作を表すから そのような動詞が用いられる文に使われるから。 これが適正な考えか また例外などがあるかなどを教えて欲しいです。 宜しくお願い致します。

I was supposed to participate in the rally of football on the day. However, I made a lot of mistakes on the morning of the day. First, I got up at time when I had to gather in the station. Next, I was not able to find the stop of the bus to go to the ground of the rally easily.
