up to ２ の意味
こんばんは 質問させて下さい。 今度留学をするのですが、留学先のホストファミリーのプロフィールの ・ Other students in the home の部分に ・ up to ２ とあるのですがこれはどのような意味なのでしょうか？ すみませんがよろしくお願い致します。

企業のトレーニング（講習）用の資料を翻訳しています。 1)this session, for up to 1 student, .... 2)this session, for up to 10 students,...といった表現が頻出しています。 sessionはこの場合、受講するコースを表しているようなのですが、「up to = ～まで、最大」の意味に考えると、 2) は、「このセッションは、受講者は10人まで（つまり受講者の定員10人)」という意味だと考えました。 そうすると 1) は、「このセッションは、受講者の定員1人」、つまりマンツーマンのコース、という意味になるのでしょうか？そもそも、定員が１名ならジャスト１名でしか講習が行なわれないのですから、（０名で講習とかありえないので） up to を使用していること自体がおかしい気がします。 1)、2) の場合の up to について、どなたかご教示いただけませんでしょうか？よろしくお願いいたします。

This will bring you up to date on the latest in communication protocol の文章で up to date on the latest は日本語ではどう言う意味になるでしょうか。 (up) to date と on the latest は同じ意味のようなのですが。 またこの文章は（bring you up)(to date)(on the latest)なのでしょうか、 （bring you)(up to date)(on the latest) なのでしょうか。 よろしくお願いします

Yumeko took us to three different locations that provided nice scenery from which to sketch, but much of her time was spent helping the beginner-level students with the basics of how to wet up, so the middle-level students were bored. 上記の文のfrom which to sketchの部分で 'which' が意味的、文法的によくわからず、気持ちがすっきりしません。。。 文全体の意味としては、「Yumekoが、スケッチするために、景色が美しい3か所の場所に私たちを連れて行ってくれた」 になるのでしょうか？from whichがなくても意味はかわらないのかなと思ったりするのですが、いかがでしょう？ どうか、この疑問にお答えいただけると大変助かります。どうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
