other についての質問
Can you bring （another more other ）dozen cookies for the party? という例文で、 other が答えとして不適切な理由はなぜなのでしょうか？ 答えは another であり、 more では間違っている理由は他の方の質問で理解できたのですが、 otherがだめな理由がよくわかりません。 わかる方がいらっしゃればご教授ください。

dozen はここでは形容詞的に cookies にかかる形にはなっていますが， 何ダースかを表す単語が dozen の前に必要です。 other を用いるなら，two other dozen cookies（dozen は形容詞なので s がつかない） これが「もう１ダース」というのなら， another dozen cookies となります。 some other dozen cookies ならいいですが， 何もなく other dozen というのであれば，誤りです。 hundred に a や one がつくように， dozen にも，「１ダース」なら a か one が必要なのです。

another dozen で、「もう1ダース」、 それに対して、「複数ダース」なら、other dozensと複数形です。

ネイティブの友達や先生にも何度か聞いたんですがわかりません・・ こちらの回答も参考にしましたが、やっぱりいまいちよく理解できませんでした。 よく「You are different from the other boys」とか 「Just like the other students」というのを見た事があり、 また２人の人物が会話をしているのを見て 「The girl wearing a red shirt is Mary,and the other is Jane.」 みたいになるのは理解できるんですが（・・あってますよね？） 例えば「他に好きな人がいる」は？ I like another person? 「あなたが言っているのは違う人の事だと思います」は？ いつもI guess you are talking about a different peron.と言い換えていますが、 この場合はother person?...the other person? とにかく例文を沢山出して頂けないでしょうか。

I mean only bring you for party この文章はどういう意味ですか？ 流れをいうと、まず then I can bring people for party と言われ、パーティに誰か連れてくるのかと思い、何人と聞いたら、 only you と言われ、理解できないのでくわしく教えてと言ったら、1番上の文章が返ってきました。 よくわからなくて困っています>_<

After his success with three local restaurants, John, an entrepreneur, has decided to open ???? in Singapore. この????に入る選択肢の問題で、anotherが正解なのはわかるのですが、otherは不可でしょうか？ otherは「その他」なので、レストランとは限らない。わざわざアントレプレナーと挿入されているから、レストランを指し示すことができるanotherにする。 と推測してみましたが自信が持てません。 直接参考にしたのは下記です。 I will buy that PC, and he will buy another. という場合には、anotherと言っただけで、彼が買おうとしているのは別のPCであることがわかります。 これが、 I will buy that PC, and he will buy others. だと、彼が買おうとしているのはほかの物であるというだけで、PCなのか何なのかわかりません。 ちなみに、 もし、ジョンが将来１０個レストランを持ちたいと思っていて、今、残りの７個を同時にオープンすることを決めたとした場合、others は同じような理由でダメでしょうか？the othersならOKのような気がします。 詳しい方、よろしくお願いします。
