直訳すると「テストがあったよう簡単に、学生のほとんどが落第。」だそうです。 たぶん、「テストがあったようだが、学生のほとんどが簡単に落第したようだ（そうだ）。」だと思います。

most,any,someの用法について タイトルの通りです mostの後、名詞が来る時most,most of theしか使うことができないということが参考書に書いてあったのですがかmost of our studentsという文がありました 所有格がある場合most ofだけでも大丈夫なのでしょうか？ またsome,anyの用法もよくわかってないのですが同様で大丈夫でしょうか？ よろしくお願いします。

次の文の訳はどうやって訳をするか教えて下さい。 The designer knew that as good a place as any to start in refurbishing the image was a complete revamping of this important room. だいたい意味はわかります。けれども、as good a place as anyの訳がいまいちわかりません。おそらくas～as---の構文であると思いますが。goodの意味をどう訳されますか？あとanyの後には何かが省略されているのでしょうか。前文がないのでわかりにくいと思いますが、すみませんが教えて下さい。
