私が送ったメールは、HELLOWEENのライヴに行ったと打ったつもりが、Oが抜けてて、HELLWEENとなっていました。 このメールの返事がこちらです。 It is HELL”O”WEEN. It is a play on words...Halloween, Hell because they are rockers. それはHELLOWEENだよ・・・これは言葉遊びで？？？ 彼らはロックバンド？だから。 １０月３１日のことと、このバンドのハロ（ウィン）がかかってるって意味ですか？

ドイツのヘビメタのロックバンドである Helloween のことでしょうか。 そうだとすると、「そのバンド名は Halloween に引っ掛けた言葉遊びでバンドの名前がつけられてるんだ」 という指摘で、「ロック・バンドだからわざと Hell （地獄） なんて名前をつけたんだろうな」 という趣旨のことが書かれているのではないだろうかと私は読みました。 ですから、質問者さまがお考えになられた通りではないかと思います。

ここに（探してるものなどが）あった！ という時 Here it is!（あったものが単数のとき） Here they are!（あったものが複数のとき） と言いますよね。 また あそこに（探してるものなどが）あった！ という時は There it is! と言いますが、 あったものが複数の場合は There they are! とは言うのでしょうか。 1There they areがいえるかどうか。 2ネイティブの間ではこれらの4つの表現が日常的に使われているのかどうか。 以上の二点、教えてください
