Environmental Scientist和訳
こんにちは Environmental Scientistを和訳するとどういう職業になるのでしょうか？ 環境学者とは少し違いますか？ 検索してもピッタリの答えが見つからなかったので、お力を貸してください！

素直に訳せば「環境科学者」で、日本のＷｉｋｉによれば「環境学者」だそうです。 environmental science は英国Ｗｉｋｉによれば学際的な学問で、 物理学と生物学を融合した（私は化学も含むと思います）環境問題の研究で、 environmental scientist はそれを研究する人だそうです。 「学者」で辞書を引くと色々な表現が有ります。 http://eow.alc.co.jp/%e5%ad%a6%e8%80%85/UTF-8/ その中でscholarはよく使われています。 scienceが自然科学的なものに使われるのに対し、scholarは人文科学的な ニュアンスで使われています。 最近では、environmental scholar という表現も使われているようです。 http://today.brown.edu/articles/2009/09/africa-scholars 学識者だけではなく、広く実践経験を有する指導的な立場の人に使われているようです。 科学的な知識と背景を持つ立場から環境を研究する人は「環境科学者」、 社会科学等の観点から環境問題を研究・議論する人は「環境ホニャララ学者」の表現が Ｗｉｋｉの分類より良いような気がします。 「環境科学者」＋「環境ホニャララ学者」の総称が「環境学者」となるべきと思います。 Ｗｉｋｉが絶対基準では無いので、気に入った訳を使い創ってください。

Environmental studies を日本語で 「環境学」 というので、Environmental scientist を 「環境学者」 として、何もおかしくはないと思います。

現在リンについての英文を和訳中なのですが、 At pH values of environmental interest,phosphates are mainly presented as H2PO4‐ and HPO4 2‐. という文をうまく訳せず困っております。 特に、environmental interest のinterestをどう訳すのかがわかりません。 ご存じの方いらっしゃいましたら、教えてくださいますよう、よろしくお願いいたします。
