英訳お願いします!
カナダの学生ビザ申請書なのですが、 a)Immigration status of applicant(s) in country where applying: という質問です。選択肢は、citizen, parmanent resident, temporary resident, worker, student, otherとあります。 b)Valid untilという項目が次にあります。 a)の質問文を訳してください。 あと、My present job is...とあるのですが、無職の場合はどのように書いたらいいのでしょうか?I am not workingでいいのでしょうか。

あなたは、今ビザを申請（apply）しようとしているのですよね？ですから、あなたは申請者（applicant）ですね。in country where applying で、whereはcountryにかかります。where applyingは、where you are applyingと補って考えるとわかりやすいかな？（あなたが）申請している国で、ということですね。あなたはどこで申請しようとしているのでしょうか？日本ですか？もしそうなら、あなたは、日本では、citizen, parmanent resident, temporary resident, worker, student, otherのどれに相当するのかを選べばよいですね。この場合、該当するのがあったら、できるだけ前にある項目を優先して選んでください。（もしあなたが日本国籍をもっているなら、働いていようが、学生だろうが関係なく、citizenを優先して選んでください。）Valid untilという項目は、あなたがcitizenか parmanent residentであれば、関係ない項目ですね。parmanentとでも書いておけばよいのでは。Jobは、学生ならstudentとでも書いておけばよいのでは？

こんにちは。 country where applyingは「申請を行っている国」じゃないかと思います。つまり「今いる国」で、今日本にいるとすれば、日本国籍保有者ならcitizen、永住外国人ならparmanent residentでは？

ありがとうございます。が、結果が”国の申込者(s)の移民資格、当てはまるところで”とでました。ちょと、よく分かりません。この国(coutry)は日本をさすのでしょうか、それともカナダをさすのでしょうか。それによって答えが全く違うもんで。お願いします。

Currently, I am a permanent resident in Japan, and I plan to visit NY next month and drive a vehicle there as well as outside the state of NY. Q1. Is this driver's license still in effect (will I be driving a car legally with this license as it is)? Q2. If yes, will I be able to renew the driver's license? その後、以下の返答がありました。 Documents issued to visitors who are not here on a permanent basis, but have legal INS documentation to be in this country will have the Temporary Visitor legend printed on their documents along with the immigration expiration date. The document will have an A1 restriction code. When the temporary visitor date has passed our system will prevent any transactions from being processed. The document itself will remain valid. The document itself will remain valid."のくだりなのですが、transactionとは当該免許証を運転や身分証明に使用することを指しているのでしょうか。また、その次のdocumentは何を指しているのでしょうか。皆さんにご教示いただければ幸いです。 ビザが切れた時点でこの免許も失効しているということですか？毎年渡米時にこの免許で車を借りて運転してましたが・・・（冷汗）

こんにちは。 今度交換留学でカナダへ行くためStudy Permit申請の準備をしているのですが、 私は在日韓国人でonline申請ができないため手こずっています。 日本人はパスポート原本の提出が不要 Citizens of Japan, unless applying for a permanent resident travel document, do not need to submit their passport. Japanese applicants should submit only a photocopy of the bio-data page of each applicant’s passport. とあったのですが、これは日本の発行したパスポートを持ってる日本人ということですよね？ ちなみに日本での在留資格は特別永住者です。 ということはパスポート原本を送らなければいけないとして、 審査に通った後の返信はパスポート返却のためemailではなく郵便で届くと思うのですが、 返信用の封筒や代金等のことがHPに書かれていません。 国際宅急便で送ろうと思うのですが、返信用の封筒はどうすればいいでしょうか・・・？

A few weeks ago, I met a former student who is now a salesman. He travels all over Tokyo to meet clients. I asked him how he survived such a tiring job running all over the city every day. He admitted it was tough, but he said his job was made easy, in fact a pleasure, because of one thing: the Ramen Database. The great achievement of the Ramen Database is to map the entire country -- for ramen! Every noodle shop in the entire country is on there. Because I am also a fanatic about ramen, when my student told me he used the site almost every day, I felt like I had found a brother. I also felt jealous he gets to eat more ramen than I do. We both appreciated how fantastic it is to know the entire length of Japan is mapped for one of our favorite experiences. この最後の文だけ意味が正確につかめません。 it はto以下を表し、それが素晴らしいということだと思います。 「私たちは二人とも高く評価した、日本全体が・・・・・のためマッピングされていると知ってすばらしいと」 ・・・・の部分もうまく訳せません。 どなたか解説をお願いします。
