iPodを購入したのですが、iTunesでのアカウント入力画面から先へ進めません

iPodを買ったのでiTunesからiPodのユーザ登録を行って曲を移そうとしたんですが、アカウントを入れる画面で 「to use this apple id you must first login to the my info web page then provide additional security information」 と出て先に進めません。IDやパスは間違っていないんですが、これはどうすれば先に進めるんでしょうか？

アップルIDの登録情報に何か不備（誤記入や使えない文字が入っている）があるのかもしれません。 アップルIDの管理ページであるMyInfoへアクセスして、作成したアップルIDで サインインしてください。 http://myinfo.apple.com/ また、できれば具体的にどのような手順で操作を行ったのかを補足してください。

iPodを接続してiTunesを開くと、iPodのユーザ登録を行うということでＩＤとパスワードを入れる画面が出てきました。そこでＩＤとパスを入力しても、質問文にあるような文字が出て先へ進めませんでした。 ちなみにMyInfoへは同じＩＤ、パスワードでログインすることができました。
