すごく基本的なことで恥ずかしいのですが、 質問させてください。 ある物が～にありますという時、 「There is～」と言う場合と「ある物 is～」と言う場合がありますよね。 この使い分けについて分からなくなりました。 例えば、 「銀行の向かいにポストがあります。」 There's a mailbox across from the bank. →正しい The mailbox is across from the bank. →正しい A mailbox is across from the bank. →正しいでしょうか？A mailboxだとNGでしょうか？The mailboxでないとだめですか？ もう一つ例を出すと、 「私の座席は非常出口の近くにあります。」 My seat is near the emergency exit. →正しい There's my seat near the emergency exit.. →正しいでしょうか？my seatだとNGでしょうか？ There'sと使いたいのだとしたら、a seatとしないとだめですか？ つまり、 特定されていないある物（a mailbox）の存在を言う時にはThere is～と使い、 特定されたもの(my seat, the mailbox)の存在を言う時には物 is～を使う、 という理解で正しいでしょうか？ どうぞよろしくお願い致します。
