こんばんは。これは、Journalの読者に、Journal本体とは別に一枚ものの手紙として送ることを想定しているのでしょうか。program of the Journalとは何でしょうか？目次table of contentsのことですか？participantsとは誰でしょう？通常雑誌で、「読者の皆様」はDear Readersなどとすると思いますが。 誤植の訂正は、Journalの次の号にJournalの一部としてするのが通例です。継続して購読している読者、あるいは継続して収集している読者にとって、別途送られてくる一枚もののお知らせを亡くさないように保存することは案外面倒なもので、同じJournalの次号以降に印刷になっているほうが、手間がはぶけ、年数がたって後から閲覧する者にとっても便利です。私の知っている海外の学術雑誌で、別途一枚ものの訂正を入れてきた例は見たことがありません。 それで、Journalの中で訂正をする場合ですが、お詫びなしで簡単に訂正を書いている例が多いです。また、お詫びの言葉を書く場合は、編集者に明らかな責任がある場合に限られると思います。手元によい実例がありませんが、適当に作ってみると、 Erratum The editors would like to apologize for the following typographical error that has inadvertently crept in to Fukuda, et al. (2008) in vol. 30, no. 3. In line 5 of page 365 of Fukuda, Y. et al. 2008. Policies of Japanese government towards Tibet problem., "Fukuhara Oi" should read "Fukuhara Ai". とかなんとかするのじゃないでしょうか（訂正が複数あるときはErrataとする）。 質問者さんが学術雑誌の編集者でいらっしゃるなら、他の学術雑誌を日常的にご覧になっているはずですので、実例を探されることは難しいことではないはずです。上記の例は私が適当に作ったものですので、実際にはどうか本物の海外の雑誌の例を参考にされてください。 ネットでerratumの例を探すといくらか出てきます。 これはお詫びを言ってません。指摘してくれた人に感謝する文面。 http://www.journals.uchicago.edu/doi/full/10.1086/340769 まったく著者のせいだと書いている例。 http://www.iop.org/EJ/abstract/0957-0233/14/10/501 以上ご参考になれば。

Please check attachment. As for the credit note for the missing styles last time, you need to pass to your accountant the credit note that I have emailed to you. This cannot be further deducted of the invoices on our system, and therefore it is on a separate sheet. I have put the information of the discount on the 2 invoices. Please accept my sincere apologies for not completing your order. Our quality control staff did not approve some styles and units and due to Chinese New Year some styles could not be finished and we did not accept late merchandise from factories.
